Solid dryer (after some trial and error)
I’ve held off on this review for a few months just to see if I ended up changing my mind. I have 2b/2cish hair and style/wash using curly girl method always. I do diffuse to dry anytime I am actually styling my hair. I’ve had the xtava blow dryer and the black orchid diffuser for 5 years and have had no real complaints with it, until lately the dryer is melting the plastic of the diffuser. the xtava is quite heavy as hair dryers go, and with the diffuser it is also sizable. This one is WILDLY smaller, lighter than the Xtava. And probably more so than any other hair dryer I’ve ever used. I mean…it is TINY. But its a beast. It doesnt get as hot as the xtava (though still plenty hot…hot enough that my 7 year old can’t use the high heat setting) and blows like crazy. The diffuser is smaller than I had hoped and my initial attempts at using it didnt give me what I wanted, and I was kind of disappointed. But after some trial and error and just working out what to do differently – this thing is great. It does dry my hair significantly faster, its light and easy to manage. The cord is nice and long. The diffuser clicks/locks on, so it never falls off. its not particularly noisy. The price is a little steep for me…so that gives me some pause, but if it lasts more than 5 years, I’ll consider it well worth the price.

If you want to put the $$ out this is good 👍 investment especially if uur trying to
I love this hair dryer it really does dry your hair fast,Sometime too fast where I have to do my bangs before anything else, it’s not a problem, my bangs just dry fast and need them a certain way.The tools that come with have used except the concentrator which works great and you can change temp from cold 3x to warm 3x by pressing the bottom so you can make your own temp basically. It’s not just standard turn it on and that it, the glosser finishing thing I don’t know how that works just yet and the brush attmt, I used once guess since I wasted $80 on a chi hair dryer brush I just went bake to round brushes. My hair’s soft this is light enough,For the features and the amount of money iWould say it better be worth it in the long run, but I can tellIt doesn’t dry my hair out. Most ion hair dryers don’t,But this is actually a good price being I seen it on the shark website for $100 more,

Great upgrade
After my trusty Conair finally gave out after 20 years, I decided it was time for an upgrade. I wasn’t ready to drop $400 on a Dyson, so I went with the Shark SpeedStyle Pro based on the strong reviews and features—and I’m so glad I did.The dryer is small, lightweight, and very powerful. I only use the diffuser attachment, and I never fully dry my hair. I use the IQ setting with low temp and airflow, and I was genuinely surprised by the difference it made in my curl pattern. My curls are shinier, fuller, and noticeably less frizzy. It is loud, and the heat gets pretty intense. The cool shot isn’t super cool, but the hot setting gets very hot. That said, it hasn’t damaged my hair thanks to the smart temperature control.Overall, I’m thrilled with this dryer. It feels like a big upgrade without the Dyson price tag, and it’s really brought my curls back to life.

I love it!
I love this dryer. I was looking for a legit 3 speed and 3 heat settings, this is it! It dries my hair very fast without burning my scalp with high heat, The highest heat setting doesn’t burn. It is light weight, and it took a few dries to get used to it. The brush attachment helps give me root lift, but I can’t style my hair with it. I don’t use the shine attachment.I have shoulder length moderately thick straight hair.

Great Blow Dryer But Bulky Cord
I am giving the Shark SpeedStyle Pro four stars instead of five stars because of the power cord (we’ll get to that). The dryer, itself, is light weight and easy to handle. I have dry, color-treated hair, and I find the Shark helps keep frizz down and doesn’t give me the heat damage my old ConAir did. I use the Concentrator attachment all the time, and I use the Anti-Frizz attachment on occasion. The “cool air” button is easy to reach while you’re drying your hair. It dries my hair quickly without causing static. The power cord, though, ugh. There is a heavy box thing (power adapter? shock prevention?) near the plug that makes the power cord bulky and difficult to wrap up neatly. The extra weight and bulk makes it harder to store or pack in a suitcase. Perhaps the box thing is unavoidable, but I can’t help but think there are no women on Shark’s electrical engineering team. That said, I’ve gotten over my disappointment with the power cord, and I do really like this blow dryer. It’s my first “high-end” blow dryer, and I do feel it is worth the extra cost. Assuming it has a good, long lifespan, I’ll consider it a good choice. So far, so good.

Product was defective from the get go, plugged it in and all that happened was the fan speed light started flashing and nothing else.
