Amazing hair gel and a great replacement for discontinued Super Glue from American Crew
I discovered this product recently as I was looking for a replacement for the discontinued Super Glue hair gel by American Crew. I went through several other products before I came to this one and they all did not live up to the expectation of the Super Glue until I tried the Sexy Hair Hard up. Not only did it live up, it surpassed it in my opinion. I have curly hair that can be hard to work with. I used to use the super glue with the American Crew firm gel as a mix to make the super glue a little less thick and workable. The Sexy hair product replaced both of those. The gel is soft and easy to work with but then becomes sticky without leaving any dried up globs and holds my hair in place without fail. I also do a lot of high end activities where I might sweat or be outside getting wind blown. The sexy hair hard up holds firm in those conditions too. It’s now the best hair gel I have ever used and I’m grateful I came upon it. If you are looking for a replacement for super glue and I’ve seen a lot of frustrated people out there looking or just need a reliable product to sculpt hair or work with difficult hair, this is the product to get.

Best hair gel I have ever used. Period. Looks natural without the flaky or crusty look. Just need a small amount compared to cheap gels. Also… once it’s in (at least for me) you can wet it and reset it.I got pushed into a pool at a party once. I came out completely wet. To my surprise, once my hair dried it held it’s shape again. And somehow it also washes out super easily and leaves no residue. Can’t rave enough about how good this product is.

This is hands down the best hair gel product I’ve ever used. I have been using gel since I was in elementary school, so I know a thing or two about hair gel. I’ve used many different products, but after finding this a couple years back, I’ve never consistently used anything else. A couple times here or there at a friend’s or stylist’s suggestion I have tried different products, all which had their pros and cons. But I’ve always ended up making my way back to this gel. Here’s why:1. It does what it says. It is super strong and holds your hair. My hair is a bit stubborn and doesn’t like to stay up unless the product has a strong hold. Many other products claim a strong hold, but this is one of the few that actually holds up their end of the bargain. Literally.2. It looks/smells good. Looks aren’t really important because at the end of the day it all looks the same on your hair, but the cool blue look doesn’t hurt. Also, it smells good. And that is important. I’ve used other products in the past that either smelled bad as soon as it’s in your hand, or smelled good at first, but smelled weird or chemical-ly after I put it in my hair.This isn’t the cheapest gel out there. But it’s not the most expensive, either. And generally, it’s not good to use the cheapest product out there for anything. You wouldn’t go to the cheapest restaurant every day or change your car’s oil with the cheapest motor oil, would you? Same concept here. In a pinch once I needed gel so I bought a cheap bottle of LA Looks gel at a Target (same brand that I used in jr. high school) and it was terrible. The gel was a ‘super strong hold’ but felt watery in my hands, like hand sanitizer. It didn’t do the job, and accomplished little more than making my hair look wet. Anyways, don’t let the price scare you away. This is the best gel you’ll ever use, hands down.

My preferred gel for styling my hair.Easy to apply, not overly sticky, and leaves the hair in place, and for a long time. Also leaves a nice shine in your hair. I have relatively straight hair, so not sure about curly hair, but I’m sure it would work that hair type just as well.Gel doesn’t have much of a scent, which is a plus for me.And the best part is that this gel doesn’t feel like it’s pulling my hair when I have it applied, thus leaving me unbothered throughout the day.Removing the product is easy; just apply some water and it washes right out.

Product is EXCELLENT. but people shop around the internet 1st, the price here is over priced!But the product is great, probably the best gel ive ever used, but realized after purchasing you cant find it quite a bit cheaper in other places

Super Hold
I’ve tried other gel products and this is so far the best and works well. It gives you volume where you need it and strength to hold down that stubborn hair. Slit has a soft texture when applying it to you hair and has a minimal smell.

Great hold and the pump makes it more convenient
This is the only gel that my man uses and buying this bigger option, that also has a pump, is not only convenient but saves money in the long run. I’ve also used it a few times and for my long hair, I have to add water to it and massage in my hands first. Otherwise it balls up in my hair – I’ve learned through trial and error.

Très bonne texture, fixe très bien les cheveux sans les assécher. Mais tout ça est annulé compte tenu de l’odeur de ce gel qui s’apparente à un parfum pour wc. L’odeur est très forte et ceux toute la journée …
