Medium-style hold for waves and curls
This styling soufflé is just what I was looking for. I’ve been using Curlsmith products for about 1 1/2 years, and I love them. I think I tend to err on the side of caution, or comfort with new products. So the products that were recommended to me were great products, but they didn’t have quite the amount of holding power that I wanted to keep my curls bouncy and in what I like to call controlled chaos. I didn’t want the wet look, or a hard feeling to my curls, but soft, seemingly untamed, defined waves and curls. So what I found with this product is that you may have a bit of a hard to the touch feel as your hair dries. But when your curls are nice and dry, scrunch them to your hearts content and run your fingers through them to reach your desired look. I hope you’ll love your curls and waves as much as I do mine when you’re done.

Excellent product for beautiful waves and curls
The Curlsmith Hydro Style Flexi Jelly has been my go to styling gel for my naturally curly hair for about 6 years. I have tried many other brands that promised the same curling hold or were less expensive, but always come back to this one. It is a lightweight gel offering a medium non crunchy hold. After it dries there is a slight cast, leaving my hair soft and manageable. I love the ingredients, the texture and smell. It is vegan and cruelty free. There are no sulphates, parabens, silicones or mineral oil. It is a little on the pricey side but the quality and how my hair responds is well worth it.

Works great but hard to get out of jar.
I use the CurlSmith products. They have taught me good techniques to revive my curls and combat frizz. These products are necessary to hold onto that curl. I have several of their products and wanted to try this one. Opening the jar it looks like a clear jelly. It has a light, pleasant smell. I found the product hard to work with. It was hard to get out of the jar because it was like a runny jelly, so it kept running off my fingers. I finally made a scoop with my fingers and got a little product out. I applied it as directed. My hands were very sticky after working with this, but it washed off easily. My hair dried with a hard cast, so I scrunched it as directed to soften it up. It worked great to hold my curls it helped create. It was still holding the next day. If it were easier to get out of the jar I would give it that extra star.

I grew up hating my curls. Finally found products that I love that work well for my hair. I use the Styling Souffle after every wash. I use the Mousse then add the Souffle and diffuse. Holds my curls well enough I can sleep on them and not be a frizzy mess in the morning.
