Because it was an inexpensive way to find that out.And it works! So I bought a full-size kit. And the world is full of joy!Caution:Since you are using the microwave to heat it, you MUST be careful that the wax is a safe temperature before applying. I thought I had it right, and still got a slight facial burn — similar to a minor sunburn. The second time, I used better caution, and it was fine.Also? MESSY. Very. The bigger kits seem a little better than using the jar, but expect wax strings everywhere. And no, you can’t reuse the wooden sticks. The wax has claimed them and will never let them go. Leave them to their waxy-fate.But waxing does the job on smooth areas. However, using it over/around a raised moles will be less effective. I had to still use a twizer that.

Wow! this is a much improved formulation for the wax and it really works. I don’t think I’m gonna have to make any more waxing appointments because this makes it super easy and fast. Bikini strips perfect size.

Terrible
I’mWhy do companies insist on releasing “new formulas” for products that worked perfectly to begin with? It rarely makes them better. It’s been awhile since I’ve purchased Sally Hansen microwaveable eyebrow wax. They have changed everything and turned something great to garbage. The tub has a much narrower mouth making it more difficult and messer to get the wax out. There used to be a small angled plastic spatula perfectly sized for applying wax to your eyebrow. Plus an ingenious feature that let you know if the wax was a safe temperature to use. The word ready was written on the spatula. The word disappeared if the wax was to hot to apply to your skin. They replaced it with an ungainly popsicle stick that is difficult to use with precision. The max 2 minute heating time is a joke. The wax in my attached video was heated for 3 1/2 minutes and it was still barely melted. It was extremely difficult to apply and had a tendency to ball up instead of adhering to the skin. Unless you’re seeking a lesson futility don’t waste your money.

Good product
I love the product, but shrinkflation has struck! These can quickly clear up your upper lip or side burn area. For larger areas or stronger hair these probably wouldn’t be especially effective.

My Go To Brow Wax for Years
I’ve used this wax on my eyebrows every week for years, and it continues to outperform every alternative I have tried. It has become difficult to find in local drugstores, so I now buy it on Amazon. The wait is absolutely worth it. Nothing else delivers the same level of precision and results. Highly recommend if you want something reliable and consistent.

I guess I just can’t do it…
I don’t know if it’s just me or if it’s the strips- but I could not get these to work. I patch tested, I tried the legs, I tried the arms, I made sure the skin was clean and all that. I really wanted them for my underarms, but I nearly ripped my skin off trying them there… so I gave them away. Best of luck to anyone who can use them! I’ll just go to my wax professional instead..
