Really impressed
I am just really impressed with this product. I have acne prone skin and use a lot of salicylic acid products. Some are harsh and irritate or burn. This one does not, really you can’t even feel it.I used it fresh out of the shower after cleaning on a cotton ball and boy was I amazed at the amount of material this pulled from my “clean” skin. I don’t think I’ve had this sort of results from any toner in the past.There is a rubber stopper to prevent any evaporation which I appreciate. The only negative I have is, it didn’t flow quickly out of the bottle and you cannot squeeze to speed up. Small negative and does prevent waste.Really think this is a great value and am adding to my skincare routine.

Works but Has Strong Smell to It!
I got this to help clear the blackheads on my nose and chin. It’s got good information on the bottle and is simple to use. The smell is not good at all. It’s very strong and sometimes is just too much for me. I have a VERY sensitive sense of smell. It does do its job good when I do use it. I have naturally oily skin, and this seems to help with that also. The serum comes out slowly and I can’t control the speed of how fast it comes out. I think this is done to help prevent waste. If strong smells don’t bother you and not being able to squeeze/control how much comes out of the bottle doesn’t bother you, this product will be worth the price and worth trying.

Exfoliation is a great way to help with many different skin concerns. The reason most of us exfoliate is for the benefit of speeding up skin cell turnover. Skin cell turnover essentially is new skin cells replacing old skin cells and it takes approximately around 28 to 42 days for that to happen. Exfoliation can help speed that process up.This water based Salicylic acid 2% serum promotes surface level exfoliation for the natural shedding of dead skin. It absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving any greasy or sticky residue. I use this up to twice daily if I have time. I make sure to leave on for at least 30 seconds, preferably 1 minute to get the full benefits of salicylic acid. Do keep it away from your sensitive eye area. Then follow this with a light moisturizer. If you have not ever used salicylic acid, it is a smart idea to do a patch test first to see how your skin tolerates this formula , even at 2%. If you will be out in the sun while using this serum make sure to wear sunscreen. You should be wearing sunscreen everyday you are outside regardless. I’m enjoying clearer, smoother, brighter skin from this serum.

The smell is…
Somewhere between fresh vomit and a two week old compost bin is how I would describe the smell of this serum. And unfortunately, it is incredibly effective. It works amazingly to remove dirt and cleanse pores. You can see from the before/after images how much was lifted up just by using that one cotton round.This is an affordable product, but I don’t think I will be able to finish/continue using it because of how rancid the stench is. And putting it all over my face??? Oh man. The smell doesn’t go away. My husband was across the ROOM and asked me “Are there eggs cooking? What’s that smell?”Maybe if your sniffer is out of commission this would be a five star product. But my nose works great and I’m struggling over here. Send help because I really liked the results but good GRIEF it stinks.

Affordable and Effective
MSMEESUYA Salicylic Acid Serum is an effective exfoliating serum for oily skin and combination skin. This serum is watery and I would describe it as more of a toner. It’s excellent when used on a cotton pad to apply. It absorbs into my skin nicely and I did not have any adverse effects. It effective at cleaning pores and keeping blackheads at bay. The only negative about this salicylic acid serum is the smell. It isn’t pleasant but it’s not unbearable either. I would still recommend it as the price is under $20 and the serum actually works.
