I like Protégé Root Cover Up. It comes in a pretty, high quality compact with a mirror and double-sided brush in two different sizes. It looks natural, applies easily and quickly, and you can wipe away mistakes. I didn’t spend a lot of time on it to take the “after” photo and could have blended the color better into my scalp. Keep in mind it’s very close-up and people wouldn’t be looking so closely, but it gives you a good idea of a 30-second effort. I took the photos within a minute of each other, so the lighting and everything is the same.I had the cover-up on my hairline on both sides of my face when I went to sleep one night and it didn’t get on my pillow. I wish it lasted a little longer since I only wash my hair every other day.

Product Works but Arrives Broken (Need Another Container)
This powder works, but packaging doesn’t survive the shipping process as others noted. I had an extra mineral makeup almost gone so I cleaned it out and put the powder in here. If you are okay with it arriving broken an using another container, then the product does work. Note I am using along my my part, where my grays show the most. If most of your grays are around your face, this won’t work great because the powder will darken your skin. It basically works well in areas where there is a lot of hair. My hair is naturally thin/fine, but still works for me along part line. But I didn’t notice on fine hairs by my face it just gets all over skin – not an issue for my as I don’t really get grays there.

More product, goes on easily. Fab price. I have also purchased Joan Rivers brand at $35 because they have a salt and pepper color. I think the Rivers brand is the better. The powder has a different feel. But for now I think this Protege brand is a good second and a good price. Clairol brand gives less product and smaller brush.
