Magic in a bottle
This was my first purchased of a Root Hair coloring product. My hair color is an unusual dark brown, and hard to match. I was skeptical if the root coloring would match, or work as advertised.I ordered the dark brown, it matches my hair color perfectly, and totally covered my white gray hair! The blending brush on the bottle worked extremely well to my surprise, and the product application exceeded my expectations. Everything worked as promised, with no odor or skin irritation. L’Oreal root hair coloring only took only 15 mins to apply, the 10 minutes to set, it truly saved my day in minutes.

Worth the price!
I followed the directions exactly and had good results. It didnt ash out fairly fast. I washbmy hair every 4/5 days so after a few weeks I was needing to dye my roots again. With the second box I left it on for around 20 min, so double of what the box says. The results were amazing! It makes your hair very shiny, covers gray and is very easy to apply because of the applicator. This time I will count how many washes it can go through before fading to gray again. For the price, even if I have to reapply every 4 weeks, I am ok with that because of how healthy it makes my hair look and feel.

Perfect gray coverage
I love this when I’m in a pinch and can’t get to my hair stylist. It’s super fast and easy to use. The wand/brush makes application a breeze and is mess free. It lasts for about two weeks.

Does a good job and is affordable
This is good hair color. It does just as good of a job as any other brand I have used, and you don’t have to leave it in as long. The quantity isn’t as much as a regular size box. But if you’re just touching up roots, it’s totally adequate. If you’re coloring all of your hair down to ends (if your hair is medium to long) then it won’t be enough. But I never do that, so it’s not an issue. The color looks natural and it doesnt seem to damage my hair at all. Considering the cost savings, if you just want to do your roots, this is definitely the way to go. I already have ordered it again and plan to do so from now on. Highly recommended.

Super Easy! Blends Better Than Expected
I’ve never colored my own hair prior to using this product. I’ve unexpectedly been away from home for a couple of months and the grey in my regrowth, which is mostly at my temples and by my ears was bothering me, so I decided to give this a try.The application was super easy for me, since I don’t have grey all over my head. I was worried the color wouldn’t match, but somehow, it blends right in with no lines. I was surprised that the directions specified applying to dirty hair, so I applied it to my post-gym, sweat dried hair prior to my shower. I only used about half the bottle, but set it aside, just in case, instead of tossing.After applying, I was concerned it was staining the skin on my face, because the skin got quite dark. All that color easily washed off my face, but the hair remained colored. After my hair was washed and dried, I noticed about 4-5 stubborn grays that weren’t colored all the way to the roots, so I reapplied, using color I set aside, and left that small spot about 20 minutes. Rewashed that section and found the second application worked like a charm.This seems ridiculously easy and fool proof. Highly recommend.

Works fast but…..
This definitely works fast (10 minutes as opposed to 30 minutes or more with other products) but the results seem uneven. Although I chose dark blonde as usual, the result was much darker than usual on everything except the roots and it took several shampoos to lighten up and look “natural.” Also, this product seems to stain non hair items much more quickly so be sure to carefully protect anything you don’t want stained. But it also seems to fade much more quickly. I’m going to stick with my usual product — it takes longer but I’m much happier with the more reliable results.
