Works well, reasonably priced, highly recommended
Wow! Just wow! So many features! Works well. Watching my teeth getting whiter every day. Reasonably priced. Works so much better than the off-brand one I bought that looked very similar. Connects to the app on my phone to help me monitor my brushing. Nice size brush that fits nicely in my mouth and my bag for traveling although I did buy a separate cover for the head. Holds a charge for a very long time, even with 2-3 times daily use. This was recommended by my previous dentist and recommended again by my new dentist. Makes me think it is a pretty reputable toothbrush with amazing brushing ability. It’s not cheap, but I think you will be impressed.

Great toothbrush- no more sonicare for me
Love this toothbrush, converted from a sonicare that I had been using for years. The pressure sensor with the light is awesome and I love the fact it tells me how many days until I need to change brush head. Compared to sonicare my teeth feel cleaner

Actually love this thing
The Bluetooth phone app is fun for a few times, really just a gimmick but a good one. Otherwise, this is still the best electric toothbrush I’ve ever tried. Very pricey but it does encourage me to be thorough and my teeth seem pretty clean. I like it a lot

Amazing toothbrush, except the battery
I love this electric toothbrush, i love the app that comes with it. I now brush longer and more thorough, you can see on the app, which areas you are brushing and the sensitivity, i love the light that you can choose from, and it turns red if you are using too much pressure. I like the small screen and a greeting smiley that comes with it. The price is great, i see no reason why buy the higher version, it does literally the same thing, The cons are the battery doesnt last long, i charged it all the way and on the third day already it was at almost 80% and i use twice daily. The brush itself is very very very light, compared to my other electric toothbrush from hE, which is heavy and premium and the battery lasts almost a month, but unfortunately the new brush was not shipped for like 2 weeks, so i decided id buy a brand new toothbrush. The charging cable is attached all in one piece, and not a usb cable. It comes with a white traveling case which is super nice. I would have preferred in black, but thats not a bigy.

Really Improves Brushing
I wanted to go for a premium brush so I went with the Oral-B iO series. This series 6 has really made my teeth feel clean, while putting really little effort in doing so compared to the really cheap electric brushes and regular brushes I have used in the past. The bristles are not harsh and the pressure sensor is a very nice feature. And of course the timer is great too, but most electric brushes have that. There is also an interactive app for the brushing process if you care to optimize you brushing I guess, but honestly is probably just a “gimmicky” feature. After doing research I came to the conclusion that of all the Oral-B iO series electric toothbrushes, the series 6 is the most worth it for the money. All the brushes essentially work the same, with the differences being that the 7,8,9 have magnetic charging stands while the 6 has a pin-like charging stand (which is equally as simple to use) and that the 8 and 9 have a few more negligible modes and colored screens rather than the black and white screen on the 6 and 7 (equally as bright). The 9 is the only one with a charging case, but its a proprietary connection. There is also a difference in battery life, but they all last for multiple weeks so it doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things to me personally .In conclusion, the Oral-B iO series 6 is a really good electric tooth brush that does indeed improve your brushing, and is also the best value in my opinion among the iO series. If there was one thing I wish it had was a charging case with a normal port connection like usb A or C (preferably).

My teeth feel like they have just been cleaned by the hygienist!
At the last appointment with my dentist, she recommended that I purchase an electric toothbrush in particular this model. Admittedly I am way far behind, one might say in the dinosaur age even, of jumping on the electric toothbrush band wagon. spread (Electric toothbrushes were originally introduced wide spread in the 1960’s with Oral-B’s rotating oscillating bristle toothbrush in the 2020’s—just a fun fact!). But it is time; my teeth and gums need the extra technical, sophisticated, digital TLC that I can/could never achieve with hand brushing. So, I proceeded with the dentist’s recommendation and purchased this Oral-B iO Series 6. Not wanting to venture any further into the land of dental hi-tech, I avoided the series 8, 9, 10, and what other stratospheric numbers exist as the series 6 seemed quite manageable. I sat down and read the included pamphlet in its entirety (that was a task almost requiring a magnifying glass as the print was so small). I completely understood the warnings, safety instructions, diagrams and most of the more basic instructions and tips, but there comes a point when a leap of faith is required and I had reached it. After charging 24 hours, I reviewed what to do the first use and away I went. It is programed to give instructions in English and a multitude of other languages. Once brushing begins a light changes from a color that you program to green when you have done a good job. There is a beep when two minutes have elapsed alerting that you have brushed recommended time; you are then rewarded with a smiley face! Clever, yes? Positive reinforcement goes along way no mater one’s age or activity! My teeth have never felt so clean after a brushing; they actually felt as smooth as when the dental hygienist had cleaned them. Information states that teeth will bee 100% cleaner with healthier gums in one week of use; that is something to look forward to, for sure! I am certain as time goes on, as more experience is gained, and as more is learned about this technical, dental marvel I will be a brushing whiz and hopefully make my dentist proud! This toothbrush is a corded, rechargeable electric toothbrush that has a pressure sensor to aid in prevention of gum damage, a front digital screen recording brushing time and battery level, 5 cleaning settings listed as Daily Clean, Sensitive, Whitening, Gum Care and Intense Clean (for personal customization). It is described as “travel size” and comes with a carrying case for easy packing and extra protection because after all this is not $1.27 toothbrush! One replacement toothbrush is included, and of course others are available for purchase; the recommendation is to change the brushing head every 3 months.Agreed, the price seems very expensive but two things come to mind. The first is if this electric toothbrush and the owner do their jobs, the toothbrush will pay for itself in one dentist visit. Secondly, remember that you get what you pay for; I think I have paid for a wonderfully, helpful, needed, top notch toothbrush that I look forward to using well, for as long as I am around! Enjoy…you deserve it!Top 3 Likes:-Excellent quality by respected brand-Teeth are clean, really clean-!00% cleaner in one week with less plaque and healthier gums-Digital feedback helps prevent gum damage, ensures adequate brushing time and rewards a job well doneTop 3 Dislikes:-The tiny printing in the fold-over pamphlet is very difficult to read-Concern using an electric appliance near a sink (but no different than a hair dryer or electric razor, is it?)-The charging base is not much wider around than the actual brush raising stability concerns

Wow!! This is honestly the best toothbrush I have ever used. I have always used oral b brand electric toothbrushes but this is the first time I have used the IO series and wow!! I legit feel like I just came back from the dentist everytime I use it. I did alot of research when picking out a toothbrush and I am glad I went with this one. I was debating between this version and the newest one but it was very pricey. I am so glad I went with this. I’m glued to my cellphone so I actually like the app. It helps me to ensure I am spending enough time on each section of teeth. Also there is various “routines” you can do which is cool. I cannot stop telling all my friends how clean my teeth feel lol. If you are debating on a new toothbrush, I recommend this one!!** wanted to update this to let you know as most other reviews this toothbrush stopped holding a charge a year in. What a waste of money!!!!do not waste your money on the IO series brushes use the ones before these. They are great

It stopped working after some time. Bad quality. Do not buy it.

Recently comparing to the phillips sonicare it looks like this iO series from Oral B is the clear winner. The Phillips has issues at this time so I disqualified it – reviews are terrible – seems a major quality control problem. As Alberta dentists are the most $$$ in North America I feel it wise to have one of each brand, and believe each has its merits.I’ve used this new Oral B toothbrush for a week now with both the regular (Ultimate Clean) and soft (Gentle Care) heads. After 3 days of using the regular brush heads I feel like it is going to carve and scrape up my gums till their all gone. Extremely aggressive. So I think I’ll be using the soft head for 6 days a week, and maybe the regular head once a week for a better more aggressive cleaning. Gives a good cleaning with the soft head on “gum care” mode. The iO heads are very large but that’s ok for me being a guy, might take a while for others to get used to it, or it might be simply too large for others. The heads are quite pricey so tempted to take a star off for that, but I’ll be a bit generous and give them a 5 star as I have seen no issues. The older sonicare charger from 10 yrs ago had a UV light – I miss that – would be good if the iO charger had the UV light for disinfecting the head. Almost impossible to tell the diff b/w the 2 iO head types but I do see a small symbol where a square is for the regular head and a cloud is for the soft head – strange way to ID these to say the least. Haven’t used the phone app yet to see if that is handy or not.
