Strong but gentle.
Hate to spend extra money on ANYTHING. This is expensive stuff. It is. However I have terrible night sweats and hormonal issues. And I can’t stand being stinky. The smell is eh. It’s not super strong though. So that’s a plus. I usually wear perfume anyways so it’s mild enough to be covered easily. But when I don’t. The smell isn’t strong enough to linger. Like after an hour or two the smell is gone. But the stink is too! lol. I have extremely sensitive skin. I use medication on it daily. This is very gentle and that’s a need. I also use it near my female regions with no irritation. It’s not sticky or oily. I’ll never use dove or secret again. Spray deodorant is out the window. This stuff is that good. And even in my single mother budget- it’s worth it. One because it really does last a long time. You just need one swipe. And two it actually works. I don’t go three days without showering, my skin can’t handle it. So I can’t tell you how long it works. At least two days of very active life in hot a weather. And a ptsd night of bed drenching sweat.

If you haven’t tried Lumè you must. Keep in mind if you’ve never used aluminum free deodorant, it might take a short time for your body expels the toxins. When i.first started using I was thinking, not for me until I read that your body has to get used to no aluminum. I prefer the solid. It is regular size tube. The is a good scent. It is not sticky. It is good on skin folds if you are prone to rashes.

TLDR: works well, reduces sweat for me, and doesn’t leave sweat stains on cloths.I’ve tried so many times to switch from antiperspirant to deodorant, but every single one felt sticky in my armpits and was just a sensory nightmare! I usually dusted cornstarch over the top, but kept going back to Secret.When Lume first came out a few years ago, I gave in to the cheesy ads and tried it. It was AMAZING! My armpits didn’t feel sticky, and it actually kept me odor free. The original formulation smelled pretty horrible on application, but that faded in under half an hour. But the crazy thing is that even though this is a deodorant and not an antiperspirant, I wasn’t really sweating. If my whole body was sweating, my underarms would too, but they didn’t sweat all the time like this used to.I was sad when Lume reformulated and discontinued the vanilla scent, but then I tried peony rose, and it’s so so pretty!! So the benefits of Lume and a new, amazing scent! I do wish they would come up with some more because I like variety. I hate the powder scent, despise anything lavender, am allergic to coconut, and the clean tangerine made my armpits itch (previous formulation– the new one might be better).My daughter is even more disappointed in the scents (she’s not a fan of peony rose), but she’s converted– at least for the summer. She’s been faithful to Native for their amazing variety of scents (I agree, but can’t use it because they use coconut oil), but she recently discovered that when she sweats while wearing it, she gets horrible brown sweat stains!! She’ll stick with it for the winter, but said she’ll wear Lume in the summer. It doesn’t have the same sweat reduction on her as it does on me, but it does NOT leave sweat stains for either of us.

Nice smell but not overpowering
This is pretty good, but it doesn’t last 72 hours, it barely lasts 24 hours. But it’s better than other natural deodorants that don’t really work, so that’s something.It smells pretty nice for a natural product as well. Even though it’s expensive, it does last a long time. Definitely prefer the stick to the cream- the cream was just ineffective. Will buy again.

I like this very much and use it on different areas of body every day before my workout. I sweat a lot so I can get very stinky without this type of deodorant. I wouldn’t say it last 72 hours. Still need to apply everyday. It definitely lasts all day and night. I like how smooth it applies. The scent is pretty good compared to others ( rose)

It seems to last. However, I have noticed the scent has changed since it was opened. The first time I used it, the smell was really true to a rose scent but that seems to have faded. Nonetheless, the deodorant still works all day.

I’ve waited a long time to try this product in hopes it would work. The smell was so awful I had to wipe it off. Next time i tried it, i put a little on and mixed it with my usual deodorant to tame the smell. We’ll see how well it works.
