So, I have used other mechanical devices to get rid of the dry skin on my heels – both electric and manual. In fact I have used a manual one multiple times a week for over a year. It seems to remove a lot of skin but it never made headway on the thick callous on my heel.This week the podiatrist planned to cut some of the callous off – but said it was like trying to cut cement. He sent me home with a tube of ‘Kamea 20’ lotion saying I needed to hydrate my heels, use the pumice stone, and come back in a month and THEN he’ll cut off the excess.I looked on Amazon and, after reading the reviews, decided to try this rasp. Wow! I was SHOCKED how EASY it was to use and how MUCH SKIN it removed without any pressure! Thank you to everyone who recommended this products. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Incredible Results — Salon Feet at Home!I’ve tried every kind of foot file, pumice stone, and “miracle” cream out there, but nothing compares to this Colossal Foot Rasp. The first time I used it, I couldn’t believe how much dead skin it removed — my heels went from cracked and rough to smooth and soft in minutes.The design is sturdy, the handle feels comfortable, and the stainless steel surface is wide enough to cover large areas quickly. I also love that it works on both wet and dry feet, though I find soaking my feet first makes the process even easier.

Be Careful!
A giant foot rasp!!! You have to be really careful with this rasp!! It works extremely well but you can easily take off more skin than you want to and make open areas on the more delicate areas of your feet!! Be gentle!! Otherwise this works like the pedicure you get in your salon!

This callus remover is very good and quick to remove thick callus from foot. It must be followed by using a foot grinder to smooth out the area from the rasping. The result is amazing. Soles of the feet will be very smooth and soft.

Wow! Why did I even buy that electric grinder for my feet? This thing is amazing. A word to the wise: be careful using it because it is so effective you can quite easily overdo it. It works like a charm. Unbelievable. It’s definitely going to extend the amount of time I can go between my gel pedicures!

rapid removal of callous material, no safety issue if careful
First use (used dry) resulted in quick removal of heavy callous material, no mishaps. I had delayed trying these due to reviews saying they were too sharp and could result in injury. Instead some time ago I tried a sandpaper style callous remover that worked well but is way too slow to remove heavy callouses–tedious that I avoid the chore and tend to give up before it’s finished. Yet this Colossal Foot rasp did the job in a couple minutes. The tool’s curve made it easy to focus the very sharp edges only on the callous and so I’ve found a modicum of care prevents damaging skin. Can be used for dry or wet; wet conditions may make it easier to remove too much so more care might be necessary.

This is by far the best foot file I’ve used. I’m on my feet a lot everyday and this is the only foot file that actually filed down calluses quickly and easily. Be careful to use a little at a time as the file is quite sharp. My only ‘complaint’ is that it’s quite large and I was wishing I bought the two pack with the large and small file, so I could do smaller tricky areas easily. Still 100% recommend.
