I use this gel EVERY DAY for my mohawk haircut and it works perfectly! It gives me the serious maximum hold I need to keep everything in place from morning until night. My hair requires specialized styling products for manageability, and I rely on this particular product, which is currently on auto-ship. I have been a satisfied customer for 30 years. Applied to wet hair in the shower after leave-in conditioner, it imparts shine and healthy-looking curls. Without it, my hair becomes excessively frizzy. I trust this product will remain available. Damaged while shipping. A mess!
Items came damaged. Just one bottle, other 2 are fine but had to wash them off. No way to tell Amazon about the defect unless I return all of them. Product is good so I’m not returning but be careful when shipping this!

Great amount, product and value
Great for some frizzy hair, my hair is dark brown and long however some is broken due to curling iron. I live in FL and with heat and humidity I need something that isn’t making my hair feel like glue but keeps the frizz down, I really like this product and the smell.

One and done!
This gel is a total game changer! After years of searching for the right stylers, I got sick of spending so much money and time on my hair. I had heard so many good things about this gel so I gave it a try. Now it’s the only styler I use. I don’t have to use a whole lot, it enhances my curls, it doesn’t weigh down my hair at all, and it gives good hold without feeling stiff or dry. I am so happy to have found a real “one and done”—and at this price point too. Another thing I love about this gel is that your hair doesn’t have to be soaking wet for it to work so I have been air drying. It’s so simple to do my hair now and it comes out just as full as it did when I diffused after using the expensive curl creams and gels, plus it’s healthier. I get compliments on my hair every day. It’s full, it looks and feels great, and it’s super low maintenance. I highly recommend this gel!

All the Hold – None of the Stickiness!
I have been using this product for years and love it! I have short hair that I spike up. Most products that have been recommended to me for spiking my hair are sticky or glue-like and feel awful. The only way to remove them is by a thorough washing. This product is nothing like that. It holds well, but if I run my hands through it or brush it, suddenly my hair feels like normal, like I never put product into it at all. But then, in the middle of the day, if I need to refresh my “do” all I have to do is reactivate what’s already in my hair with a little water. I rinse my hands, shake most of the water off, then fluff my hair around a bit to wet the ends and voila! Freshly spiky! And one final note – what partner likes to stroke your hair and then have to go wash their hands?! With this, your hair looks like it would be resistant to the touch, but stroke it and it’s like magic – all you feel after first contact is HAIR!

Decent gel
They changed the formula a few years ago and my hair liked the older formula better. Regrettably I still buy this one as it is reasonably priced and I do get a good cast but still wish they would bring the old formula back.

Silicone-free, non-flaky gel that works in humid climate. Easy to scrunch out the crunch once gel cast has formed and hair has dried. Gives some volume but not that much shine. Generally not that much build up and easy to wash out.I use this almost daily on wavy hair. If it’s your first time using this product, you do have to do some trial and error until you find a way that ensures the gel cast forms and lasts longer.For me, I apply some leave-in moisturiser or curl cream on wet hair, then apply this gel and scrunch or finger-twirl my hair. This does not work as well on dry or damp hair.Overall a good product. Have yet to find a replacement within the same price range.

Es un gran producto. Mi cabello es rizado (2c/3a) y de baja porosidad, llevaba meses probando productos, sobre todo los de Shea moisture y Cantu, pero en mi caso me dejaban el cabello pesado, grasiento y opaco. Leyendo varios blogs encontré que personas con mi mismo tipo de cabello tenían los mismos problemas, por lo que recomendaban cambiar a productos ligeros sin alcoholes que puedan resecar, proteínas (pueden hacer que el cabello se vea pesado y sin forma) o glicerina (absorbe humedad del ambiente). Este gel es perfecto, no tiene ninguno de estos ingredientes, el cabello se siente súper ligero y manejable durante todo el día, además ayuda a controlar el frizz, solo hay que poner una pequeña cantidad de producto de medios a puntas, no se necesita mucho. Qué bueno que lo vende Amazon, antes lo tenía Walmart, pero ya no está Aussie en la tienda.
