A Beautifully Balanced Gift Set with Subtle Scents
My wife has always loved The Body Shop, so I picked up The Body Shop Shea Gift Set for her to try out some of their shea-based products – and it was absolutely worth it. Each of the four items has a subtle, comforting scent that feels clean and natural rather than overpowering.The shower cream lathers beautifully with just a small amount on a washcloth – it smelled great and left her skin feeling soft and smooth. The face and body bar worked just as well, producing a nice lather in her hands without being overly drying (a common issue with bar soaps). The body butter is thick and a little tricky to scoop out at first, but it absorbs surprisingly quickly once applied and leaves her skin feeling hydrated without residue.The standout for her was the hand balm – it shares that same gentle fragrance and feels wonderful to use. It made her hands noticeably softer, and the compact size makes it perfect to toss in a bag or keep by the sink.Overall, this is a lovely, well-balanced set – great scent, generous formulas, and thoughtful presentation. Good Quality Shea Butter Products
This Body Shop Shea Gift Set is a great way to try out several different beauty products containing shea butter at once. It comes with a shower gel, a face and body soap bar, body butter, and a hand cream. Each item has a similar warm, subtle scent. The scent is barely noticeable, and I think it would be fine for folks who are sensitive to strong fragrances. Each item seems to be good quality, as well. I have dry and sensitive skin, and none of these products caused my skin any irritation, but the bar of soap did sting my eyes when I tried using it as a face cleanser.My favorite items in the set are the shower gel and the hand cream. The shower gel is thick and lathers well. It leaves my skin feeling soft, rather than dehydrated like some other shower gels I have tried. The hand cream is also thick, but it absorbs quickly. It makes my hands feel immediately more moisturized. I like the bar of soap just fine. It does a good job of cleansing my skin. I tried using it on my face and body, but I prefer to just use it on my body. The body butter is creamy and seems nice, but it’s really small, so it’s only good for a couple of uses.Overall, I think this is a good set, particularly if you are interested in trying beauty products containing shea butter. The set is very giftable, but the presentation isn’t all that special (the products all come in a thin, plain box). The value is okay, but I wish it came with a bigger body butter.

Very nice gift set
Upon arrival, the packaging was slightly crunched due to shipping, and I noticed some dust from the bar soap throughout the box. While the hand balm tube appeared damaged, I was relieved to find that it did not leak or affect the product’s usability.Each item in the set features a pleasant, light neutral fragrance that is not overpowering. The pricing is comparable to purchasing each product individually, making it a great value for a quality gift set. The lotion absorbs quickly and is non-greasy, which I appreciate in my daily use. The soaps lather beautifully and provide excellent moisture, while the cream, butter, and balm have a wonderfully thick consistency that feels luxurious on the skin. I also love that all products are vegan, with recyclable packaging and approximately 90% of the ingredients derived from natural sources. It’s worth noting that the shea butter is sustainably sourced from Ghana, which adds to my overall satisfaction with the set. This makes for a thoughtful gift, and I can see some people wanting to repackage or split the items for stocking stuffers.

Mine is missing the bar of soap
Well this was disappointing. The gift set is a nice idea and the products I’ve been able to try are all decent. I’m especially found of the body yogurt which has a wonderful jelly texture that I can’t get enough of! But when I opened the box I noticed a big empty area and soon realized the soap was missing.I don’t know I this was an issue in production or if the gift set box isn’t secure enough and contents wind up going missing in transit. Whatever the reason it’s not acceptable to get only 3/4 of an order. Because of this I wouldn’t feel comfortable ordering this as a gift since I’d feel terrible if the recipient wound up with missing items as well.The products however are nice. The scent is ok but slightly chemical smelling. I do like the fact they make a point of being thoughtful when sourcing the ingredients for their products. The hand cream is thick like a body butter and moisturizing. The body yogurt is fantastic and I’ll be finishing it in no time. The wash is decent but I can’t speak of the soap because I have no idea where it is.I honestly expected better from the Body Shop. I understand that they can’t control everything that happens once a product leaves their hands but they should be manufacturing products that don’t fall apart and start shedding pieces so easily. A simple wrap or sticker would secure these gift sets and keep the contents where they belong.

Smells and feels nice. Great gift item
The package came with some powdery stuff inside the box. A little messy for a gift, but all items were intact. Not sure where the powder is from. They smell really nice and the body butter feels really soft and moisturizing. Still need to try the others. If you have a sensitivity to smell or planning to get this for someone, I would avoid it. It is quite strong for sensitive people. I am sensitive to smells and this is borderline OK for me. But for others, it smells really pretty.
