Good Quality, Wonderful Smelling Rose Products
I have The Body Shop British Rose Collection Gift Set. I absolutely love Rose-smelling creams and lotions and decided to check this set out.Pros:- This is a fantastic smelling Rose set. For those of you that enjoy Rose scent, you may know there is cheap, “bad” Rose and there is a more natural elegant Rose smell and this one is the latter.- The Body Butter is very thick but it melts into your skin and does not feel greasy afterward – just soft. It stays with your skin for a long time keeping it hydrated.- The Soap has a medium lather and very light scent. It rinses clean and leaves me feeling fresh.- The Body Wash is very concentrated – you don’t need much to build up a good lather. The wash feels hydrating.- The Hand Cream is a good general hand lotion – the consistency is a bit thinner, it absorbs quickly into the skin and does not feel greasy or thick at all. It has a light pleasant scent.- My favorite part is using several of these products together to build a more layered, longer lasting Rose scent. I love how my sheets smell after I have showered and laid on them.Cons- I don’t have any.This set is a good value for quality products and especially great if you like Rose scent. This set would make a great gift, but is also perfectly suited for keeping to yourself!

Smells great but could use better packaging
Grear smell, a solid product from body shop. It comes in a nice gift box but for some reason it’s not packed the greatest. It was full of white powder which came from the bar soap. I’d recommend tidying this up if you plan on gifting it as is the purpose. However the smell is great and the products are a nice variety. I enjoyed the hand cream since it’s small and you can carry it around. You get a nice bar soap and shower gel and then there’s also a canned tin of cream to use. Overall a really nice gift , just be sure to clean it up and fix the issue before giving it out. Or keep it yourself!

Strong and Rich Rose Smell – Love!
What an awesome gift set! I will be keeping this for myself because I love the Body Shop and all of their products. This scent does not disappoint either. But you do need to love rose because it is strong and rich.The only teeny weeny negative thing to mention is that the set was not in place when I opened the box. Not a big deal in the slightest. It does seem like the soap also left some dust on the inside of the box too.The hand creme is my favorite. The smell actually lasts and it really moisturizes!Highly recommend all of it. Great buy for full size products too.

I expected more from The Body Shop
First I want to say I adore The Body Shop and have been purchasing products from them since I was a kid in the 90s. I was disappointed when I opened this gift set and there was soap residue all over the box. The body butter. lid wasn’t fully screwed on but I believe the substance in the box came from the cleansing bar somehow. The hand cream was loose as well. If you are planning on giving this as a gift I recommend opening yourself to clean and straighten items out if presentation is important to you or the gift receiver.The rose scent is strong and honestly not my favorite even though I enjoy rose scents. It’s like the scent of those small tea roses but INTENSELY strong, probably because they use fragrance oil.The shower gel is on the thicker side and works great.The cleansing bar is correctly labeled as such on its packaging which keeps it FDA compliant but it is not real bar soap with all of the naturally retained glycerin.It’s an ok set but I expected more from The Body Shop at this price point.

Great products, but a little weird on the gift set packaging
I love the Body Shop – I find their products to be consistently good quality. The scent is strong, as soon as I opened the box (not the products, just the box), I could smell it. This particular set has a rose scent. My only issue with the item was that the gift set packaging was a little strange. It didn’t have any shredded paper or anything to keep the items safe, and the box I received was dusty on the inside. I wanted to mention this because if you are planning to give this as a gift, you might want to plan to add something in the box (shredded paper, tissue paper, etc) before giving it to someone.

I absolutely adore The Body Shop and am so happy to see them back in the United States!British Rose is a classic. Floral, sweet and a tad sharp. It’s classy, feminine and luxurious.The body lotion is magnificent and thick. It leaves such a beautiful scent behind.The body wash is also highly fragranced, giving a thick lather and soft skin after.The soap bar leaked all over the box unfortunately but it works just fine. A well scented mess haha.Overall, these gift boxes are a fantastic quality option with excellent value. You cannot go wrong with this brand. I’ve used them for over 10 years!

Very nice gift set!
I ordered this gift set to give to someone for Christmas, and I think it’s going to make a very nice gift for whoever I choose to gift it to. It’s packaged very nicely, and looks very appealing. I personally do not like flowery scents, so I am not crazy about the rose scent, but I’m sure it’s great for anyone who likes flower scents. This set includes shower gel, body butter, bar soap, and hand cream, which is a great and useful set of products. While I haven’t used the products, I know for sure that I personally would never pay $60 ($15 each product) for a soap and lotion gift set.
