Mostly Water with a hint of something
I purchased the smaller size on 2 occasions. Then, it was a great shampoo. Then I purchased a larger size with the pump when it was on sale. I didn’t have to use it until my 30 day return window had expired. This bottle was so watered down it was ridiculous. I emailed the company, Maple Holistic, about the problem, but have yet to hear back from them. I’ve switched to a different Biotin shampoo. If you order this, make sure you try it immediately in case your bottle is watered down. Then you can return it to Amazon.Update: Nate responded to my email and said he’d replace the shampoo. So increasing my rating from 1 to 4. Just want buyers to be aware of my experience, hence the removal of a star. When it is the correct shampoo, it’s a 5.

Works but allergic cause itchiness.
The reason why I give this product a three star is because this product does work. I was losing a lot of hair and thinning out really really fast within one month due to losing weight extremely fast. It was so bad to the point where I touch my hair and five or six strands will fall out just by touching it, not pulling just touching. I didn’t think this shampoo would work, but I was willing to give everything a shot. The only problem with the shampoo is I think I am allergic to it. I’ve used it for two weeks. After a few days, I noticed that my hair reduce shedding by a lot. It went back to normal shedding, only when I wash my hair. Then after two weeks of use, my head became really really itchy. I looked at my scalp, it seems normal no redness or anything. I then started to have some very small dandruff flakes all over. Google the symptoms and I believe it is dry scalp. The itchiness was so bad it is not tolerable. Yesterday I decided to wash my hair with head and shoulders shampoo instead. That’s the shampoo my husband use for years and the only other kind I have at home. I was desperate to see if I can wash off any kind of chemical lingering in my hair causing the itchiness. FYI, I also use hair oil so it is not the dryness that is causing the itchiness. Hair oil didn’t help the itchiness. And miraculously, after using the head and shoulder my head went back to normal immediately. The itchiness went away. I know it wasn’t the biotin conditioner that I was allergic to, because I also used that, but I didn’t have a reaction to it. So this product work, yes it does, but I don’t know if everyone has the same reaction as me that’s why I gave it a three star. I took one star off because the bottle is very small for a shampoo and the the price is not cheap either. If it works that’s a small price to pay, if it doesn’t like me then oh well on to try another product.

I have thin hair and this shampoo adds so much thickness and volume that I dont need to wash my hair everyday and it holds its style. This is the second bottle I have purchased.
