Excellent product for the price
My wife ordered this flat iron. Below is her review of this product.I am no flat iron expert but I think this is an excellent product. My hair is naturally wavy (straight after a wash) therefore I do not need to use straight iron daily. Whenever I use this iron, it does a fabulous job of styling my hair. I use it as a flat iron and a curling iron (with you-tube’s aid) and get good results. First let’s talk about shipping and delivery. Shipping was quick and the package was delivered in a timely manner and was very well packaged. I was a little skeptical of buying this because of low price but once I started using it I realized it’s as good as the chi iron I was using earlier. It is well made with curved edges (helps in use as a curling iron ) , multiple heat settings, a good LED display and a very useful feature auto shutoff.The auto shutoff feature is a huge relief for someone like me who often forgets to check if the devices are switched off before leaving the house.When I used it for the first time I didn’t read the instruction manual and got good results. The next time I used it, I read the instruction manual which is full of useful tips, specially related to the temperatures settings for different hair types and those instructions made a huge difference! My hair was styled better, looked better, felt so much better and in less time too!Only one thing, the description says ceramic iron, but it doesn’t feel like ceramic iron. Though it works very well, probably as good as a ceramic iron, I am not sure if it is ceramic. Having said that, I feel this is a wonderful low cost alternative to more expensive but similar flat irons in the market. All in all, I really like this Flat iron and I am glad I tried it before splurging on more expensive irons.

Years of shopping on Amazon and this is my first review. I originally purchased this model hair straighter from a Target in 2012 for ~$60. At the time the ionic features drove up the price. But, the results were worth it. My thick, processed hair was shiny and straight with very little effort or time. Recently, the power button has been intermittent. I would have to repeatedly press the button and sometimes it would work, sometimes not. After nearly 13 years, I was more than OK with replacing it. The labels had partially worn off and indentions were forming in the plastic from where my thumb held the wand. After a quick search of Amazon, I found the upgraded model here and I am so excited! All of the same functionality, just a facelift. I look forward to writing another review in 10+ years touting the same durability. Thanks, Remington!!

Almost Perfect
Gets hot quickly in less than 30 seconds. Straightens hair well & leave it feeling soft & shiny. The design is nice except for where the white part & black part connect I sometimes pinch my palm. It appears to be very sturdy & durable. It’s lightweight & it glides through my hair. For the price under $40 you can’t be it! I definitely recommend it for anyone who wants straight hair. It has a variety of temperature changes which I need & want. I have a lot of hair, long & wavy to really curly in the back & this does the job.

Best Straightener Ever – Lasted 10 Years
This was the best straightener I ever owned. I have very fine, thin hair, this straightener didn’t burn my hair and made it very smooth. Heats up fast and easily glided through my hair. It lasted me 10 years, bought it in 2015 and just recently gave out on me. Just bought another one, I can’t wait for my new one to come in.

Big problem with this product is that it cannot be plugged into any Indian socket. You need an adapter or converter to use this product . Adapter is not included with this product. Otherwise its a good product quality wise.. does not damage your hair.. no stickiness after straightening
