Great Shampoo for a Sunburned Itchy Scalp!
Our family absolutely loves this shampoo! We don’t use it for dandruff, we live in Hawaii, so we are always getting burned, whether it is our arms or the tops of our heads, no matter how much sunscreen you use, it is impossible to avoid burning. When your scalp is burned, it gets itchy. This is our go-to shampoo after a sunburn. After about 3 years of using it, I realized that when using it with long hair, if you part your hair in several places and squeeze the bottle gently (it has a small hole opening, which is perfect for this) and “stripe” the shampoo from the nape of your neck to your forehead in each parted section, you can easily get this directly on your scalp. After “striping” in 5 or 6 sections – I use my fingertips to really work it in to my scalp. Then I get in the shower with my hair clipped up, and shave my legs, wash my body, listen to my music and then about 10 minutes later I will lather the shampoo and then rinse it out. It rinses completely and clean without any residue. I then will use whatever conditioner that I am currently loving and then the itching is usually completely gone – if there is still a bit of itch left – the next time I take a shower – I will use this same method again. I have never had to use it more than twice before all of the itching is gone.I have also used the Redken Dandruff Conditioner and it works the exact same. So, really, it does not matter whether you use the shampoo or the conditioner, they both work equally as great! I have used both of them together, but I have found that only using one is necessary to get rid of any itching – so I just pair it with my favorite shampoo or conditioner. My personal preference is to use the shampoo along with my favorite conditioner, because I find the shampoo to be a bit drying, and so my conditioner will make everything soft and smooth! This is one of my favorite after sun care products out there!! :))))

Well we had tried everything as natural as we could for my daughters dandruff— including tea tree oil shampoo, shampooing scalp and only conditioning the ends but nothing worked. It was becoming a problem so I looked at Amazon and saw the ratings. It was expensive but so worth the $$$. Her scalp improved a ton on the first use. We used it every other day but since there was still some dandruff and oily scalp, we used it every day for 3 days in a row, along with the scalp massager tool also purchased on Amazon.In summary, if you’re on the fence about buying this, buy it- you won’t regret it. It really does work and makes a huge difference in a very short time!The scent is also very pleasant. And the hair is not stripped of all its oils which is the problem I have with head and shoulders shampoo.

I have suffered with dandruff/ flakes/ seborrheic dermatitis (undiagnosed, but just assuming because My flakes were stuck to my scalp and I would have to peel them through my hair)It was really embarrassing to deal with, I would brush my hair and the flakes stuck to my scalp would bleed- it was bad yall.I’ve been using this shampoo for over a month now and I am down to minimal amounts of flaking. You need to stick to this shampoo and wash your hair as often as you need it- don’t listen to the people who try to “train” their hair- all it did for me was cause so much build up on my scalp.Definitely recommend.

Cured boyfriends dandruff in just a few uses!
My boyfriend struggles with an oily scalp and dandruff buildup, especially during the winter months. In its worst, he was itchy, and had horrible scabs and raw patches with dandruff. He’s tried quite a few shampoos, and nothing would help. I was nervous to take a chance and spend the 25$, but i’m so glad I did!!! I could not believe how quickly this worked on him, within the first use his itchiness was gone and within the next three uses his flakes were gone also! the only thing is it tends to leave the hair a little dry and frizzy, but that’s to be expected and we’ve been using a conditioner to help with that. the smell is kinda minty, i personally love the smell but others may not. i found that when applying it it doesn’t suds up a ton, so it’s easy to end up using more than needed. i’m just so relieved and amazed that this worked so well for him. it’s not entirely perfect, but its given such a positive impact i had to share and i don’t typically write reviews! definitely give this a shot

OK so you probably read reviews like sure lady you’ve tried everything.. but I have! Nothing worked! I have tried tens of different otc shampoos but this stuff is legit. My hairdresser told me about it.. and talk about life changing. I had such a flaky scalp it would flake in chunks (gross!) I used this applying it to my dry hair, gently massaging it to the scalp, and let it sit while preparing to shower about 5-10 minutes. Now I only have to use it like normal in the shower 3x a week or so. Smells really good (not medicated) and does what it’s meant to do! Try it, buy it, it’s the best!

I’ve suffered from severe dandruff problems for years after having my child (thanks to sleep deprivation). I tried many different shampoos and this is the only thing that works! It only took two or three washes for my large dry patches, redness and itches to go away. It has a cool and soothing effect on the skin when applied. Very refreshing and spa-like. It might sound like I’m exaggerating, but I feel like a new person and I’m so happy with the results. It is kind of expensive but worth every penny!

The product is rich and lathers well so I find myself only needing to use a small amount. I enjoy the soothing, almost menthol like sensation it gives you. It’s mild and not overpowering at all. I find it does help with dandruff in the winter months. I alternate between a dandruff shampoo and a more affordable regular shampoo. This is a good quality dandruff shampoo at a premium price.
