Very moisturizing for a cleanser – doesn’t strip the skin!
This cleanser impressed me. I went in expecting the typical cleanser experience – just sort of eh, nothing groundbreaking. As a skincare junkie, I’ve tried a lot of cleansers; I’d say most are fairly mediocre regardless of price point. I’ve entered my 40s now and standard cleansers get the job done but tend to leave my skin a little stripped and sorta dried out before I layer in the other steps of my routine. I really dislike this feeling a lot.My first impression of the Pier Auge Savon cleanser was that it was very creamy going onto the skin, but once I lathered it up, it absorbed right in and didn’t leave a ton of lather behind. Huh, I had never seen this before. Tried it the next night with a little more cleanser and a little more water and got almost the same experience. There was almost no lather to really wash off. Upon further research, I discovered it is a soap-free formula which probably accounts for the lack of lather. There is some substance to wash off, but it’s really pretty convenient to not have to drip tons of water all over the counter, my shirt, and the floor while reaching for a towel.Afterwards, my skin was left super soft and clean. No tight or stripped feeling to be had! I really thought it felt good, especially when used in double cleansing because it left my skin feeling really clean and refreshed. With that said, because I am a bit older, this cleanser may not be for everyone. While I really appreciate the moisture it provides, it might be a nightmare for someone with more oily skin. Nevertheless, I really liked this formula and can see myself making this cleanser a regular item in my routine.

So I already have tried one of Pier Auge facial products and I absolutely love it !So this company knows what they’re doing with products that work as well as these do.This facial cleanser works like a balm would and doesn’t really sud up. It’s a creme cleanser that also moisturizes while cleansing.It’s super silky smoothe and cleanses makeup off just fine. Even though it states light makeup. I suppose mine must be light because it comes right off when washing.It does have an off smell, which is sort of nice but then it fades into a natural scent. It’s hard to put a name to it. But it’s not unpleasant.It comes with a seal which to me with a lot of products it’s pretty important to do considering how things can happen and all. So I definitely appreciate that.Hydrated my skin very well and I really do like it. Along with the lotion tonic I’ve got in this line. It’s amazing with salmon DNA 🧬I definitely think this brand is worth keeping an eye on and definitely would recommend this brand and cleanser.

This cleanser is surprisingly impressive. Even though it has a creamy texture, it rinses away cleanly and leaves my skin feeling fresh with absolutely no oily or slippery residue. I expected a thicker cream wash to feel heavier or leave something behind, but this one massages in smoothly and comes off with water without leaving my skin tight or uncomfortable.What really makes it stand out is how well it removes makeup. It takes off my cluster lash glue, base products, and everything else without any tugging or irritation. Even around the eye area it feels gentle, and yet it still gets every bit of makeup off. After rinsing, my skin feels soft, balanced, and calm instead of stripped or dry. For a cleanser that looks simple on the surface, it performs like a high-end product and has quickly become something I reach for every day. The scent is very luxurious and my skin stays feeling clean and nourished for hours after using. Highly recommend!

This cleanser really feels like a premium product and it shows all the way to the packaging. The bottle looks sleek and high end which is a nice touch when you keep it on the counter. The texture is smooth and it lathers just enough without feeling harsh. It takes off makeup easily and leaves my skin feeling clean but not stripped which is huge for me because I have dry skin. The ingredients like hyaluronic acid and trehalose really help keep the skin hydrated and soft. If you want something gentle that still feels like a treat this is worth it. Swiss made Spa Level Cleanser
This cleanser is unique in that it is not a cleansing cream and it’s not a foaming soap. It goes on like a cream but as you rub it into your face it whips up into what I would describe as a thin lather. It’s easy to rise off and It did not leave my skin feeling stripped or tight or like it had a film left behind but instead my skin felt clean and soft and sooth. I think this is because of the unique combination of cream/soap.It does smell perfumy at first but I don’t mind fragrance in products and the fragrance of this is lovely. It reminds me of Armani Acqua. It doesn’t linger on your skin after you rinse but it’s enjoyable while cleansing. It is definitely a spa level quality cleanser.
