Finally, a Toothbrush My Kids Actually Like Using!
I have the Oral-B Pro 1000 CrossAction Electric Toothbrush in green, and my kids really like using it. They find it fun and easy to handle, which makes brushing less of a chore and more of a routine they actually enjoy. One of the things I’ve noticed is that the charge lasts a surprisingly long time. We don’t have to worry about it running out of battery frequently, which is really convenient, especially with kids who sometimes forget to put things back on the charger.In terms of cleaning, this toothbrush works much better than a manual toothbrush. I can tell a noticeable difference in how clean their teeth look afterward — the CrossAction bristles reach places that are hard to get with a regular brush, like along the gumline and between teeth. My kids’ dentist has even commented that their teeth and gums look healthier since we started using this toothbrush.The design is simple and comfortable to hold, even for smaller hands, and the green color makes it fun for them to pick out their brush. Big upgrade, just right
Gets the job done. Big upgrade from the cheaper Oral B electric models (can tell better made and feels a lot better on my teeth/gums) but doesn’t have all the bells and whistles (like bluetooth??) I don’t need or want in a toothbrush. It does have a timer and a sensor to let you know if pressing too hard, both of which are useful. Purchased 2, the black one, and the light green (or is it blue?) one.

Great for the price, frequent recharges required w/long charge times
We bought two of these brushes in March of 2024. The oral hygienist praised the lack of plaque on our teeth on our next bi-yearly visit to the dentist. We normally brush twice a day, sometimes more if required by our food choices.We are very pleased with with our toothbrushes with one exception: they need to be recharged after three to four days (max) of use. I seem to remember them being advertised as needing recharging every 8 days or so. When the red charge indicator flashes it takes at least 16 hours to completely charge them. It has been this way from their first use.This is the only reason for the 4 star rating. Due to their long recharge period, when we travel we need to carry the chargers and a short multi-head extension cord.One last note- stay away from knock-off brush heads. We tried two different brands and threw them away due to them pinching our lips during use.

I bought one of these two years ago and recently placed an order for the same toothbrush again. It works well and usage is intuitive, NOT confusingly computerized! I love the small round brush head because it fits behind my front teeth and between teeth. Please never change this design, Oral B! My dentist could tell I was using an electric toothbrush because, after skipping checkups since before Covid, I had zero cavities. I am nearly 70 and the relief of not having to worry about dental health is a major win!

Arrived same day and cleans teeth
My basic rechargable Braun rotary brush had water get into the motor it began to wreak and then die within less than 2 years. I debated getting an off brand that came with more brush heads but went with this model Instead, because this model has a charging indicator light the basic one did not. I thought this brush would be an upgrade and hoped it would last longer. The cleaning power feels exactly the same as the lower tier brush. I immediately wish I had just gotten the cheapest one again. The grip was better on the old one and the on off was raised and more functional. This model does not have a separate button for the different speeds. I use the higher setting and when finished, the smooth button unresponsive feeling button must be pressed three times with frothy toothpaste in my mouth to shut this brush off and to me this caveat is annoying enough to trash this one as soon as I can afford something different. TOn the positive this does clean teeth and has a charger indicator light and I think the surface although smooth I don’t find slippery like other reviews. I personally prefer the cheapest model’s rubber grip over this model being easier to clean off. It did arrive the same day which was part of my regretable decision as I forgot about the pre-use charging this particular model needs plugged in 22 hours. ..Also most electric toothbrushes with good intentions have this annoying nanny feature that stalls out the brush every few seconds this model does too. Personally my wish from the manufacturer is the option to turn that * off and brush my teeth uninterrupted.

Según el manual de internet a este cepillo la bateria le tendría que durar AL MENOS 10 DÍAS, pero en la practica a duras penas llega a la semana. A ver, una semana usandolo 3 veces al día es bastante, pero por ese precio esperaria un poco más de duración. Otros cepillos más baratos llegan facilmente a los 10 días.Otra cosa que no me gustó es que vino completamente descargado y el manual estaba en portuges así que lo puse a cargar un rato, pensando que con un par de horas serie suficiente, pero sorpresa, después de buscar el manual de internet resulta que para cargar completamente este cepillo necesitas dejarlo conectado nada más y nada menos que ¡16 HORAS!Algo que no me termina de convencer es la forma de cargar estos cepillos de Oral B. Por razones que desconozco la forma de cargarlos es como el de los Iphone, solo colocandolos en su base y listo, se comienzan a cargar de forma inalambrica, el problema es que ese tipo de carga tarda MUCHO, de ahí que tarde más de medio día en cargarse.Esos detalles hacen que pienses que quizás seria mejor comprar uno de pilas, porque a esos son más baratos, les dura mucho más la bateria y cuando toca cargarlos en 2 o 3 horas ya están listos otra vez.Puede que sea cosa minima, pero después de 2 meses de uso resulta molesto tener que cargarlo cada semana durante medio día, por que tampoco es que puedas ponerlo a cargar después de cada cepillada, no, el manual dice explicitamente que eso no es recomendable y que mejor esperes a que se descargue por completo para volver a cargarlo por completo ¿Por qué? no lo sé.Finalmente, la descripción del cepillo dice explicitamente que tiene un sensor de presión, pero no dice que hace ese sensor o como te avisa si estás ejerciendo mucha presión en el cepillado, porque hasta ahora, solo por ponerlo a prueba, he ejercido mucha presión en el cepillo y nunca ha saltado ninguna alarma o sonido o alerta que te indique que el sensor detectó más presión de la necesaria, hasta dudo que tenga dicho sensor.
