Lovely, Gentle Cleanser
I have really been enjoying using Oak Essentials Pure Gel Cleanser daily for a couple of weeks now. This product gives you a spa-like experience with its luxurious feel and enticing light citrus scent. It is a true gel that feels silky smooth as you work it into a creamy lather. I like to let it stay on my face for a bit and let it really sink in before rinsing. It rinses off easily and completely and doesn’t leave any makeup residue or stickiness behind. Only fresh, clean, hydrated skin. I’m in my late 50’s and this product definitely helps eliminate dry spots, evens skin tone and brightens with consistent use. While it does help alleviate dryness, I still need to follow up with a serum or moisturizer.I love that Oak Essentials is made in the USA, uses zero sulfates and parabens, contains anti-aging ingredients like niacinamide, pro-vitamins and amino acids, and incorporates skin calming ingredients like aloe leaf, too. I did not experience any adverse reactions to this cleanser, redness, flaking or breakouts. It comes in a 5 oz pump bottle which makes the product easy to dispense. It’s a bit pricey, but very high quality and a little of the gel goes a long way. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a natural and effective cleanser to add to your skincare routine.

Glowing, nurtured, cleansed skin wrapped in a spa-like experience
Oak Essentials Pure Gel Cleanser is a luxuriously packaged gel cleanser that checks a lot of boxes with its hydrating, emollient, brightening and calming ingredients. The packaging is elegant with a weighty feel. There is 5 fluid ounces of cleanser in the bottle I received and the packaging weighs twice that (approximately 15 ounces total including product). The bottle has a matte finish that makes it easy to grip. The dispenser pump twists and locks. I plan to depot the cleanser for travel due to the weightiness of the bottle.After cleansing, I found that my skin has a natural hydrated glow, felt nurtured and my redness reduced. I have dry, dehydrated mature skin and I found 2 full pumps works best for me as I enjoy the ritual of taking the day off starting with my cleanser. I prefer to pump my cleansers into my palm, add water, and rub my hands together vigorously to create a micro-foam lather and then apply to my dampened skin.I used the cleanser a few different ways, as my second step in a double cleanse and as a stand-alone cleanse when all I had on was skincare and sunscreen. If you are sensitive to Niacinamide, this cleanser may not be for you. I also detect the slightest mild natural spa-like scent which fades upon rinse off and does not bother my skin. I do have sensitive eyes and this cleanser is so gentle it does not burn or irritate my eyes.Overall, I would highly recommend and will order this cleanser again. I plan to try other Oak Essentials products in the future.

Spa like!
Smell-it is so clean and natural smelling. I know this shouldn’t seem important but when there is something on your face, it matters!!Cleanliness-this product made my skin feel so very clean! Like squeaky clean. Since that is the job of this product, I am very pleased! I do not use this to remove makeup. This for me is after I take makeup off and I want to clean my face.Bottle-it is such a nice pump/bottle. It makes it so much easier to use than some of my past cleansers. Also, it looks nice on my counter! Lol!Price-this is a natural product that focuses on quality ingredients. To me the price is far in comparison with other products that are on the market that are similar.Overall I really like the product! I would recommend to a friend and I’m happy to use this on my face!!

Smells divine
I’m really impressed with this face wash. It smells clean and earthy. A little goes a long way. The directions say to use 2-3 pumps, but the first time I used it, I realized I could get away with far less. A small pump is plenty for it to suds and to clean my face. My skin feels great after using it, and it effectively removes makeup. I would rebuy in the future if it were not for the price. If you can get past that, I definitely recommend it. Oh – and its packaging is lovely. It feels expensive… and it is!

Like a SPA!
First of all the packaging of this is high-end luxe. It is weighty in the hand and feels like something used in a spa. A little goes a long way when I use it and it leaves my skin feeling so clean and smooth and cared for. The product smells clean and fresh. I love it and will purchase again when this bottle is empty. A +++

Not my favorite
I have tried a lot of different face washes and this one is definitely not my favorite. It’s difficult to get a good lather on it. I’m not a fan of the fragrance. And worst of all, it fails to wash off all my eye makeup. There was have several times I notice some mascara left behind around my eyes (and I don’t use waterproof). I will finish the bottle but not reorder it. The value is just not great for the price.

Great Ingredients, Great Experience
First, let me chase the elephant out of the room. I’m a guy and I know this cleanser is marketing to women, perhaps with the benefit of removing all the stuff gals put on in the morning…or maybe evening if it’s the weekend.But guys like clean faces too and I especially like cleansers that don’t have a lot of yukky chemicals like sulfates, sulfites, parabens and whatnot. The thought of that stuff entering my pores is an awful one. So, when I was offered to try Oak Essentials cleanser, how could I resist?I know women probably don’t want a man’s input here. And, true, I can’t relate to how well it removes makeup. But I can say this stuff is quite refreshing and I get why it has a premium price. It’s more than just it’s “better for you” ingredients. It cleans with none of the sticky residue my usual face wash leaves. I even look forward to using when I need a face wash even though it does have a bit of, let’s say, an unmasculine scent. It’s pleasant, but not one I want to bring to poker night.I doubt I’ll buy this for myself when I run out just because of the scent, but I will be buying it for all the ladies in my family because I’m pretty sure they’ll enjoy it even more than I have. Plus, I’ll continue to enjoy the softer skin I’ve noticed on better half after she uses it.
