Favorite eyeliner.
This is my favorite eyeliner. It goes on smooth, color is accurate, it lasts all day. It never needs sharpened. Dries quickly and doesn’t smudge.

Love Nyx brand makeup line, one of my favorite. Bold colors, different size tipped eyeliner for skinny lines, or bold lines, or wing lines or whatever you call all that stuff… I barely can put eyeliner on in a straight line and mascera thats it, let alone any fancy stuff, however this eyeliner will produce the lines and thickness and texture is perfect, it doesnt skip around unless you barely press on it. It is bold / bright in color and lasts most of the day. This one happens to be “all day wear” or “extended / long wear” not waterproof and there is a difference so be mindful of that when purchasing. I thought extended or all day meant waterproof but I guess in hindsight it really doesn’t lol… I’m clearly not makeup guru! However, it is great quality make up for reasonable prices! (National retailers dont offer deals like this !! 2 for $10.00, o think they are more than that at the stores.

great eyeliner with one major flaw
I’ve purchased this product several times and I wanted to leave a review in the event that NYX studies their customer reviews (as they should), because this product has one major area of room for improvement.This is generally a great product, I think because the applicator tip is an actual brush made of little hairs, as opposed to a felt tip marker. This allows the brush to bend effectively against the curves of your eyelid as you apply it and leads to a smoother application and less drying out. It does sometimes dry out a little bit, but usually putting the lid back on and storing it tip down for a few minutes allows the ink to collect at the brush tip again.However, its greatest strength is also its Achilles heel because when you’re replacing the lid, there’s a tendency for the little hairs to get stuck and get pulled to the side, eventually leading to the product’s relatively quick demise and necessary replacement. My suggestion for NYX is that they offer this product with a chunkier marker body, which would enable it to have a larger lid that is less likely to get caught on the hairs of the brush. As things currently stand, I am on the lookout for an eyeliner that does not have this problem, because I find myself needing to replace these more often than I feel should be necessary for an eyeliner. I have tried snipping off the little hairs with tiny scissors, but this isn’t an effective long-term solution unfortunately. I hope that NYX comes up with an effective solution for this problem at some point.

After doing some comparisons and tests….
I absolutely live with eyeliner on every single moment of the day. However, I have very oily eyelids and majority of eyeliners fail to last or stay put on my lids. So I require a very waterproof and smudgeproof formula to at least look good majority of the day before my oils decide to ruin it.My preferences for my eyeliners are a opaque black with a brush tip. As opaque and fluid felt tip eyeliners are, they are hard to control around my hooded eyes and sometimes end up becoming dried out even though I’ve only used the eyeliner a couple times.I’ve compared this NYX eyeliner against some of my favorites or some well known brands: Maybelline’s Hyper Easy, MACQUEEN’s Waterproof, EM Cosmetic’s Illustrative, Heroine Make Smooth Liquid, Eyeko Black Magic, and KVD’s Tattoo Liner.I put each of these up against 4 tests, which I’ve illustrated in my pictures. Maybelline’s new eyeliner held up moderately well, and it’s the only formula I’ve ever found to dry down matte and be this resistant. Of course, my favorite Asian eyeliners from MACQUEEN and Heroine Make are super waterproof and budget roof. Eyeko is also a favorite Asian brand that lasts moderately well. EM Cosmetics did not claim to be waterproof, just resistant, so I’ve allowed that to slide. I’ve never liked KVD’s formula for my lids, so I’m not surprised that it didn’t last.In comparison to those, NYX’s formula isn’t horrible and would work beautifully for most people, but it definitely can’t last through my mighty eyelids. HOWEVER, I absolutely love how opaque the formula is in one swipe and how fluid and even it is. Makes it really easy to do graphic liners! It is also great for creating quick and easy wings (with a precise hand of course since it’s so pigmented).I am going to continue using this with a primer or powder because I am enjoying the pigment! If you don’t have crazy oily eyelids and would love a dark and even application with a brush tip eyeliner, I would highly recommend this eyeliner! And even if you do have lids like me, I’m sure one could make it work with some preparation!

Great eyeliner, but be careful if you have watery eyes.
I love this eyeliner. I just wish it came with a little more. I do pretty heavy black eyeliner so maybe it is just because I use it so often that it seems like it runs out all the time. The tip of the liner is very soft and it glides on very nicely. it’s very easy to use and to do fine details with. I wish the cap would stop popping off randomly sometimes. that’s something that has happened with multiple eyeliners though, not just this one. i think it’s just something weird about the springs in them. I do love the quality of the actual eyeliner. I feel that it sticks to my eye better than a lot of the other ones that I’ve ever used. It does run if you sweat a lot though, but that’s expected. I personally have pretty watery eyes so it can be difficult to keep applying without it kind of getting everywhere.

This is as good as the Tom Ford liquid liner!! As my eye lids became softer with age and very hard to make a smooth line of liner I always looked for the best one to use so have been using the Tom Ford liquid liner for last 4/5 years and have kept on looking for another one as the Tom Ford one is very expensive. Ultimately I found this one almost as good as the Tom Ford liner. ❤️
