Quite literally the best purchase I’ve made, possibly ever
There’s definitely a learning curve when inserting this thing.For beginners, I would HIGHLY recommend a disc inserter – it helps you learn the correct position and inserts it like a tampon. Super easy.DON’T GIVE UP IF YOU DON’T GET IT RIGHT AWAY!! Go find some instructional videos online. It took me two cycles to figure out the correct position, but now that I have, this is quite possibly the BEST PURCHASE IVE EVER MADE AS A WOMAN in this day and age.I constantly rave about this thing to my friends. Here are the benefits, from my perspective:1. Don’t pay the pink tax!! Stop giving $20-30+ away every month. The tampon brands don’t need any more of your money.2. It’s non-toxic silicone, which has two benefits – no worrying about the terrifying chemicals they soak cotton tampons in, and you save literally SO much plastic from the applicators / wrappers going into the ocean!! Seriously, there’s a lot of plastic waste using traditional period products every month – with this, there is none. 10/10 no notes.3. Cramps?? Better. Someone else will have to jump in with the science to explain this particular aspect, but my cramps are so much less painful than they used to be.4. You can leave this thing in for 12+ hours with no leakage. No more panic rummaging through your bag looking for a tampon in the middle of the day – you clean it once in the morning and once at night and that’s it. Being able to go the whole day without worrying is a HUGE perk.5. If you’ve ever done any research into period products, you’ll know that the men never actually used menstrual blood when designing ANY menstrual products. This disc was designed by women, for women, which truly shows in every facet of the design and functionality of this product.Girl, don’t walk, RUN. This will change your life.

Game Changer! Comfortable with no leaks!
I love these disks. I’ve tried two different off-brand menstrual cups and both leaked, I guess I could never get them inserted correctly. I was going on vacation with a lot of hiking when Aunt Flo was suppose to make her appearance, and I was dreading having to deal with tampons & my leaking cups. So I bought these on a whim and brought them along hoping for success. Game changer. Get them wet for some lubrication, fold in half, push them all the way up there and tuck the rim under your pubic bone. Sounds terrifying, but it’s not. You can’t feel it at all! To remove it, wash your hands, send two fingers (pointer & middle) up in there and feel for the notch in the rim. You can easily pinch it and pull it out. Brace yourself for a bloody mess, but you can wear them for 12 hours, so unless your flow is extreme, you may not have to deal with it in public hopefully. For reference, I had two csections, but the large size is still comfortable for when my flow is the heaviest. Then I size down when my flow is lighter. The steam cups are a nice addition, however the directions aren’t clear if you’re suppose to microwave the disks or just boil the water then shut the lid with them in? But it’s good to sterile the disks at the end of your cycle. The disk wash is also a nice addition. They also come in a nice canister to store everything in on the off weeks. Definitely recommend!Edit: I forgot there was an informational pamphlet in the box which specifies to fill sterilization cup halfway with water, place disk inside cup fully emerged in water, microwave for 3-5 minutes, drain water & cool before use. Personally, I cringe a little at the thought of microwaving it, but I’m also worried about the longterm harmful effects of microwaving plastic, so I think I’m going to continue to pour boiling water into the cup with one dish in it, shut lid tightly to let it steam in there for a little, then cool. It would probably be best to not put boiling water in the plastic sterilizer cup, a glass bowl would probably better yet. But that’s just my thoughts.

Worth the Purchase
It comes with 2 sized for different flow or body size. Plus a sanitation cup to boil the disks in and soap. I have used a bunch of different products but this one is the best one. There is no leakage so you don’t have to worry about wearing a pad just in case. Since is a disk it is more comfortable to wear than a cup or a tampon. And cleaner then wearing a pad. The only issue I have is it is slightly uncomfortable (not painful) getting it in but the design makes it easy to pull it out.

Not easy to remove
I have used Flex disposables and the reusable disc for years without a hitch. I was nervous to try this due to it being off brand and previously reading some of the reviews but I thought, let me give it a shot. ALERT ALERT, DECLINE. Do not buy this unless you have time to spend in the bathroom trying to get it out. My cervix folds on the top notch meaning I cannot pull it with ease as instructed. Bonus for no leakage but honestly I thought I was going to have to go get it removed. The extra products it comes with are great but the disc’s themselves need improvement on the design front.

Great value & comfortable
Loving this set. It was very affordable and I like the option of using either size although I’ve only used the large size so far due to receiving the item on my heaviest flow day. I’ve been a menstrual cup/disc user for nearly 5 years and the construction of these seem sturdy, it is comfortable to insert with a note that the upper edge of the disc is sturdy enough for insertion and also that the rounded shape to it helps it slide over my cervix (I have a tilted uterus) much more comfortably than my previous saalt disc that I loved but unfortunately misplaced. I wore this new one during the evening yesterday while I was pretty active doing yard work and had no leaks during activity or over night (wore for just under 12hrs). Disk was about 70% full for my heavy day for this length of time (everyone is different, just noting that it did not leak close to capacity). So far I’m very happy. For your money it seems like a great kit & since it has 2 sizes, cleaner & sanitizing container I could totally see gifting this item as well.
