i have been using this product for years and i will never switch.i have really straight lashes that dont hold curl well .. but this mascara is perfect for my lashes and has been the only mascara that has ever worked for my lashesthe mascara is not too thick , not too thin texture-wise. the mascara wand makes it to where where you brush the product on your eyelashes, it wont clump up .. bristles on the wand are very small and sturdy instead of brush-like.The only “flaw” I have with this mascara is that it doesnt come off that easily .. when im trying to take my makeup off. Although im pretty sure i was using the waterproof version of this mascara. Just in case this is how the regular version of mascara isnt easy to take off, just make sure you have some good makeup remover / prepare yourself because this stuff is so good it takes a good effort to get the product off your lashes!After i curl my lashes , i put a thin layer of mascara on my eyes to hold my curl in place. I let that FULLY dry (putting wet product on wet product will jus weigh your lashes down) and then go in for a second coat on product. i usually do about 2-3 coats, and it holds my lashes up so well and it last for about most of the day.If you have really straight lashes like me, i really recommend trying this product .. its extremely affordable. Obviously this product will work well on any kind of lash, just wanted to put that out there for the straight-lashed girlies bc it can be very stressful when you cant find a mascara that works! Im not the biggest fan of fake lashes on myself, but i still want that lash curl and volume that false lashes have.~ If youre looking for a non-clump, natural looking mascara, this is for you!

Absolutely breathtaking results; as expected of Maybelline. With such a reputable brand, you can depend on them to deliver jaw dropping results. I’m someone who’s typically too lazy to go the full mile and get my falsies on, so this is such a good substitute for casual days! 🥺 Just make sure to get a good eyelash curler for the extra boost; mine unfortunately broke recently. If you want even more flair, I suggest investing in an eyelash primer.

So am comparing this to the the BEST mascara for Falsie effect so far is the Essence Lash Princess. THE closest to false lashes without actually being false lashes. I had extensions at one time done professionally and w/the Essence I have been asked if I got them back on. that’s how good it is. I am comparing this one to the Essence one. ALMOST the same! so for a washable option this is great. Essence is harder to remove b/c its sort of a “fiber” type. This has a comb type as a wand vs a brush and I thought that would mean not a lot of payoff for the product but was pleasantly surprised. I had to do about 4 coats, though to get the effect to build. It DOES give length for sure but for volume also, def need more coats than usual. However, those coats are super easy to apply, does NOT clump at all so its actually nice to have a building effect b/c one has the option of going casual to a bit more dramatic w/just one product. again SUPER easy to apply. While it says its NOT waterproof, I went ahead and dropped just a little bit of water on lashes to see and it was fine. So i don’t think a little humidity or perspiration should be an issue. I will say, though it took much longer to dry compared to what I am used to. I did comparison and side by side it looks almost identical to the Essence but is NOT as thick. so lacking just a bit in volume. but still a great product. the comb wand also helps to separate while applying so that is really nice for bottom lashes!

Great small brush for your lower lash line no smudging
I have been buying this mascara for their past six years. This mascara is perfect for your bottom line lashes. I don’t recommend it for the upper lashes however it’s perfect for the bottom many times brushes are very big and when you go to apply mascara to your lower lashes often you get mascara in your eye or all over your face. Well, not with this brush it’s absolutely the perfect color and perfect size for the bottom lashes. I buy it solely for that purpose only I’m finding that it is no longer in local department stores and I am resorting to having to buy it on Amazon, so I’m absolutely grateful that they have it because like I said it’s no longer sold in local stores. Thank you Amazon for carrying this and I hope you don’t discontinue because I have never found a product with a wand so completely perfect for applying mascara to your lower lash line.

Very Good Price, Always Messy, Pretty Decent Applicator
I always go for “very black” or “blackest black” options when it comes to mascara. This product fits my needs when it comes to color and consistency. I typically lean towards Maybelline when choosing my mascara because none of them have ever irritated my sensitive eyes like some other brands have, even as a contact wearer.I much prefer the applicator in this product to the flexible/bendy wands of some other Maybelline lines (Falsies?). I find that it separates my lashes well, avoiding clumps. It gives me better control than the flex wands which avoids more mess for me.Pros: Great price, gentle enough for my eyes and skin, comes in a color I likeCons: Even with the applicator I prefer I always end up with mascara on my face 5 minutes later – upper and lower lids. I will say I do tend to touch my face often but I would still classify this mascara as one that is easily smudged or rubs off when blinking after it should be dried. I’d be more accepting of this if it was easy to wash off but it is not. I use a gentle scrub, a face cloth, and plenty of water in the shower but I always step out and catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror looking like I’ve been watching The Fox and the Hound on repeat. Some q-tips and lotion or witch hazel always fixes me up but it is still annoying considering this isn’t considered waterproof.
