So comforting!
This is the perfect size and weight for someone who wants comfort and pressure around just their upper body or lap. I find my full size weighted blanket is a little bit too much and can feel constricting but this is like a hug. The material is so soft and cozy also!!

Great blanket!
This blanket was/is a lifesaver. I was having some massive anxiety issues and has several flights lined up. I have a large weighted blanket at home that I use daily and desperately wanted to take it with me on my trips. Taking my home weighted blanket would not be an option. It’s too large and weighs 20lbs. When I received this blanket I was impressed by the quality of the construction and softness. The size and weight is perfect for travel and for home use. I find the weight and size just as comforting as my large home weighted blanket. It comes with a bag that the blanket easily folds into. The blanket is large enough to lay over my chest and lap area. The only issue (which is not an issue with the blanket) is airport security. I do not have precheck and this blanket was pulled aside each time I went through security. I tried going through security with it in my carry on and my bag was pulled aside and fully unpacked and searched. I tried taking it out of my carry on and put it separate but it was still pulled aside and wiped down. I think it must look “weird” going through the X-ray. I would not hesitate to purchase this blanket.

Great Customer Service, Great Product
Excellent customer service, very friendly and willing to help; the product came with a note expressing well wishes and the hope that the product was satisfactory, as well as guaranteeing a replacement if that wasn’t the case. The blanket is soft and comfortable. It is a little heavy for travel since you have to carry it but it comes in a bag that can be used to transport it very simply. The beads can be felt through the fabric since they tend to all want to sink to one side of the pouch but since the blanket has stitching across the entirety of the surface, that is not much of an issue. Overall a lovely product.

Great for ADHD/Anxiety
I have ADHD, anxiety and autism. All my senses are happy with this weighted blanket! It’s soothing to run my fingers across the material because it’s as soft as an animal and I can draw little designs in the blanket. The sound of the beads falling can be mistaken for rushing water and it’s odorless right out of the box. I’m terrified of the dentist, so when I visit them, I always ask for a couple of the led vests because they calm me. This blanket has the same calming effect. Folded in half on my lap, it helps keep me from getting out of my seat for online classes. Full size weighted blankets were too heavy for my back and ankles, but this little one is perfect. I walk around my home with it thrown over my shoulders, which feels like a big hug from behind. I highly recommend this blanket for those with sensory issues or anxiety, or people who just need a hug sometimes.

Look out for slices in the material
The lap blanket seemed great until I unfolded it. There was a slice in the fabric in one of the sections and beads scattered all over. Because they are clear, it has been painful getting them cleaned up. I will be contacting the seller.

Great anxiety relief
I have extreme anxiety from years of abuse and physical assaults-domestic. Part of my healing along with therapy as been to figure out what helps aside from medication. This is one of my aids. I found myself always needing to have a throw pillow on my lap at home and in group therapy. Once I noticed this, I purchased this lap blanket. It is just like my weighted blanket for sleeping except that the outer part is wicked soft, which is also nice to feel when I’m anxious. I roll it up in my lap and no-one seems to be bothered. Since it is a lap blanket and not a pillow now, it is less noticeable in semi-public situations, plus my close friends and family know my past anyway. I also have a daughter that is low on the autism spectrum and she LOVES really soft things (tactile), and she’s been confiscating it, so she’s getting one as well.

I have Fibromyalgia and recent diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder. This lap blanket keeps me calm no matter where I am. Fibromyalgia makes my body ache, shoulders raise up too much causing neck and upper back pain BUT this blanket has saved me! Wearing it across my shoulders or sitting it on my lap the weight is perfect for calming one down. I have used it in the car, at work, at religious meetings each week and LOVE it.Bipolar I have found this blanket across my lap allows me to focus and just relax. I feel at ease and like nothing can/will bother me. There are times I put a corner between my fingers and just rub it while in a meeting. Or I have found myself petting it smoothing it then the other way then back.I’m saving for another one so I can have one in the car all the time and then one at work or the house.
