Very moisturizing, but smells more floral than like oranges
Very creamy and thick. The second ingredient is Shea butter so you know that it’s very thick and moisturizing. For some reason, it just doesn’t smell like oranges to me. Smells more like maybe a light floral. It doesn’t smell bad but it just isn’t what I was expecting and I doubt I will get this one again. I was really expecting oranges and sweet orange oil comes directly from the outer shell of an orange. It is a fantastic company and the products are amazing and fairly priced so don’t let that deter you. Other people might love the scent.

Oh my goodness I just got this today an d it is already all over m e! I took a shower with y he Dove peppermint body wash and n d now have this on. Wow. It isn’t greasy at all and my hands feel very moisturized. I put some b in my hair as well since it is winter and it gets so dry in the winter. If you are on the fence at vs all about this. Hop off an c d get it i already have another one I am going to order. Get it!!I did n order another one, Frosty which is supposed to arrive t h is Friday and I can’t wait! My hands are incredibly soft after using the peppermint bark for just a few day at night. It is now almost 11 am and I can still smell it on my hands!!

Love the Product Hate the Label
I recently bought this and think it is very nice, smells good, feels good, moisturizes. I really like it. The only thing that honestly deeply infuriates me is the feeling of the sticky plastic label on the jar. It feel so awful against your skin it just makes me cringe every time I touch it. I have to use my shirt to cover it every time I open it.

When I opened the box, I thought , Oh No it’s such a small bottle, am I going to use this up in a week. Then I put a little on my skin ( I have psoriasis ) and was absolutely amazed at how little I had to use to go such a long way. I had just a dab on the end of my finger and it went all down my leg. WOW! I’ve used the product for 4 days now, twice a day and have hardly broke the surface of the bottle.What a great product! I also thought at first the smell was overpowering ( I’m only use to unscented products), but when I got it on my skin, it sunk in and became a natural soothing peppermint scent, very subtle and quite cool to the feel. Amazing!My skin is very dry and it keeps it moist and free from cracking, so that it doesn’t itch or hurt. I put it on after my morning shower and it lasts all day. Then I put it on before I sleep and it is sooo soothing and keeps my skin from itching and painfully cracking all throughout the night and I sleep like a rock.I’m so happy I found this product. I will buy much more! THANKS!

Great to mix, Stale smell otherwise
I bought this item on sale for $19 and honestly if I hadn’t discovered mixing it with Trader Joe’s coconut body lotion, I’d be mad. The texture was a little chunky, which isn’t usually a problem, but paired with the fact that the lotion smelled stale from the time I opened it, I’m very disappointed.My guess is that because this is a Limited Edition scent, the lotions being sent out are older which is a shame.Mixing it 1:1 with another less thick & fresher smelling lotion improved the quality immensely. The texture is still chunky & thick when mixed with other shea butter lotions, but after stirring the two lotions together thoroughly it was much less if an issue.The scent does last, but that that information with a grain of salt! I don’t work a physically active job so I’m not profusely sweating but I can still smell the lotion (staleness and all) after an 8hr day. The scent lasted about the same amount of time prior to mixing lotions.

WORST Body Butter – Cesspool Odor (though “Unscented”)
“# 1, The safety seal on the cream had been partly torn off; # 2, this “Unscented” cream reeks of mildew and funk–disgusting!; # 3: The bottom of the box in which the cream arrived was open, with the jar spilling out. Could not even be packaged properly for return due to this. Shamefully, “Better” Body Butter is both the maker and the seller of this product. HOW can they send out such a dangerously contaminated jar of cream for HUMAN SKIN???? They are a disadvertisement for themselves.

What’s not to love?
I got the peppermint vanilla because I loved the Candy Cane body butter by Tree Hut, and just NEEDED another sweet-smelling lotion that tingled with peppermint. This is less sweet and more peppermint, and imo a much better moisturizer than Tree Hut. I’m not sure how some folks were less than impressed with this stuff, maybe the “new and improved formula” really is new and improved? I don’t know, but it’s great. The mint overpowers the vanilla at first, but 5 hours later, my skin is soft and smells like actual, natural vanilla–and nothing else. Has an expiration date on it a year and 4 months away. 5 stars, expensive, but will buy again.

The product texture and consistency is surprisingly light for a shea butter based product. I used several layers and even then my skin was dry and itchy within half an hour of application. Not what I expected at all.
