This flat iron is incredible, I love it, but I might have low standards.The flat iron I currently share (NOT this furiden one) has giant cracks in one of the plates from falling. This leads to us angling our hair and avoiding the spot as best we can, but its obviously caused damage. Its an old, mall-kiosk flat iron, very nice.Basic first: item arrived on time, clearly new, never used. Box is beautiful, comes with 2 clips, one glove, one little velvety bag, and a cheap rat tail.This new Furiden iron has amazed me. First of all ots beautiful and sleek looking. It has a lock, which I like. It has floating plates which I love, I dont think the description says it directly so I was worried because I only wanted it with the moving plates.Also, the thing heats up quick. Anecdotal evidence: I rotated the dial to turn this bad boy up to 355° when I was ready to try it out. After a second or two, I decided I wanted to check out the floating plates one last time (not even joking). I turned it off after the 2 seconds, went to poke at the plates, and immediately burned the mess out of myself.Maybe im dumb,Or maybe this thing heats up super fast.Maybe both.Anyways the thing heats up quick. Only downside is that i would ask for smaller intervals in the temperatures. The dial jumps up by about 40° each turn. Its not a big deal, im just picky.Flat iron moves through hair easy, not one snag ! My old one snagged a lot, this guy doesnt even get caught on the scraggly split ends I refuse to trim off. Also its beautiful. I thought it would be obnoxiously round, and too big to maneauver, with the dial constantly rolling. But its not, its awesome. The dial clicks into place. Cord is a fine length. No complaints.My hair is 3a/3b curly. Straightened hair very nicely very shiny. No snags. 2 passes max at 410. Also curled hair very well. Not really sure what the bad reviews are about, they really worried me, but with the easy return I figured I could just do that if it was that bad. But its not, I love it.Bottom line: This iron is pricey, but if youre still using your five year old, mall-kiosk, cracked flat iron, its time to switch and this is the one.I did NOT receive any discount or offer for this. I bought it with my own pennies 😂Will update with pics

This Furiden is AWESOME!!!
I don’t usually write reviews, but after using this iron, I felt compelled to share. I have thick, wavy hair that if left to air dry is very frizzy and hard to tame. I have tried pretty much every hair tool ever invented; Curling irons of every barrel size, straighteners (every width, brand, type of heating plate), rotating hot air brushes, hot rollers, large velcro rollers, etc. I read the reviews and took a chance on this furiden not only because of the rave reviews, but also because I liked the look and style of the iron. It appeared as though it could straighten, as well as make a nice curl if desired. I received it in ONE day, and not only is it beautiful, it is very high quality, very well made and comes with a comb, hair clips, carrying case, and a heat-resistant glove. I am here to tell you that it definitely does EVERYTHING it promises!!! It actually does heat up to full temperature in 15 seconds (I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t seen it for myself). Then I got down to business. I literally straightened my hair in about 5 minutes, (something that usually took anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes, depending on how straight I wanted it). There was no “double pass-thru” needed, it straightened in one simple swipe. I am in awe that any straightener could work so well. All these years I have worn my hair curly or wavy because I just never had the time or ability to get it straight enough, but now I can finally wear it as straight as I want in just a matter of minutes! Absolutely in love with this straightener and I highly recommend it to everyone!!!

Great product and customer service
My straightener stopped working for some reason after 2 years and when I reached out to the company to see if I had warranty, they kindly sent me a new one! I was so grateful since I really loved this straightener/curler. It doesn’t pull your hair and heats up so quickly. The quality is so good, leaves my hair smooth, and although it took me a while to get used to curling with it, it turns out beautifully and the curls last all day. Highly recommend!

My decision to purchase this flat iron was based on ease of use and how quickly it heats up and price. I did include the extended warranty. This is my second purchase my previous one lasted 6 years.I’m hoping for a repeat.My only concern was shipping it arrived in its box and packed in a large envelope. Packages endure an awful lot of tossing and so forth that could add to damage of appliance. Perhaps they should be packed in a box.
