Excellent for facial hair….
I have another device that uses a spring coil to grab hairs, and it is not as good as this device. I use both.It is a bit noisy and scared me when I turned it on (I scare easily), but it is gentle and easy to use. I have only used the facial mode, but that is all I need.

didn’t work for me
I’ve had a small, inexpensive epilator that I used for my chin hair for over 5 years; it works very well and is charged by 2 AA batteries. I wanted to get a second one to keep in another location but its no longer available so I tried this one.Following the directions I charged it for 10 hours; the red light didn’t turn green so I charged for another 2 hours but the light was still red. Instructions and item description don’t indicate that the light should turn green but all the rechargeables I have do have a red light that turns green when fully charged.When I tried it there was lots of power, the 2 speeds were fast and very fast so I was very optimistic. Unfortunately, it didn’t pluck a single hair.
