Beautiful color and long wear.
I had never tried e.l.f. lipstick before, but I was searching for a cool toned red lipstick and happened upon this one. It is highly pigmented, and it feels nice on my lips. It’s not sticky, so my hair doesn’t get stuck in it, and it stays on for a long time. It doesn’t need much of a touch up unless you eat something really greasy. The color I got (Own It) is beautiful, and has a nice satin finish, and it’s a lovely cool toned (blue based) red. It’s not greasy, but it’s not dry and chalky either. I will be buying more of these.

I wasn’t in the mood to pay $35 for my usual lipstick, so I gambled on an e.l.f. product since I love their eyeshadows. And I am so glad I did! The Smolder offers deep, rich color on with one swipe. My lips didn’t dry out, and it lasts for hours. The container is a lovely, magnetic tube that protects the lipstick and stays closed in my purse. Definitely great quality that offers the luxurious feel of a more expensive product.

Shade: All Night. So soft!
Bought the Satin Lipstick O Face in ALL NIGHT. (black). Very satin, smooth application, Angela slightly of marshmallow/vanilla. The packaging is velvety soft matte and the lid seems to be magnetic and clicks in place. Very nice. The color payoff is really nice, took maybe two swipes and I got a very opaque black. I will have to touch up some of the edges as it becomes sheer/smoky if blended along the lip line, but overall really really nice lipstick! My first time trying black and I really like it!

What an attractively presented lipstick, square shape with magnetic lid! The pigmentation and color depth is good, has a low level sheen, formula is a bit matte, and a little drying in my experience.

Perfect Pillow Talk Dupe
She’s a perfect dupe for pillow talk! A satin finish, stayed on for hours, minimal transfer when eating. She is the perfect lipstick for a fraction of the price.

Perfect color!
This is my first of this kind of elf lipsticks and I’m very impressed with them. I got two shades, this one being the darker fall color for a little more drama – or subtle days. It feels so smooth, it stays on well and isn’t drying. I love the tube it’s in. It’s a square, has a magnetic top that tells you it’s properly closed when you hear the ‘click.’ This color, ‘No Regrets’ will be a staple for me. The other color I got is a shade that’s a spot on dupe for the Il Makiage color I got and love as a regular go-to, I think it’s something like ‘Baby Doll’ but I’m not sure. The elf dupe is ‘Effortless.’ I feel great getting that same color and it feels and looks like my regular lipstick. The elf price is nice, about three times less or more. Never could get it again as it was always unavailable after that first tube, something common in that line I learned. But the elf is almost exactly that color. I put them on side by side and can’t tell the difference in the colot, moisture content, staying power, everything. It’s all there and then some. This is my new lip line, I’ve loved everything from elf. I’m almost seventy and I feel years younger in their products. There’s a soft, very faint nice smell at first, barely detectable, but that dissipates when it’s applied. The color is matte but has a soft moist look and certainly a naturally moist feel, really nice. I’m very impressed, and very happy to get the color I fell in love with, plus the feel. Nice lipsticks, very nice!

I looked silly wearing it
It’s a pretty color, but it smears when I put it on. It goes on crooked and it’s hard to remove to put on to match my lip line. I’d rather wear one of my other lipstick colors than putting this one on again because I looked silly wearing it.

Actually black!!!! Not purple, not off black, not brown, not gray actually black
GREAT LIPSTICKIf I could give them six stars I would, I was looking for a replacement for my Revlon super lustrous matte onyx that wouldn’t dry out my lips and wouldn’t be all shiny and would actually be black and not dark purple or dark brown, and this one is it. It’s not dark purple trying to be black it’s actually black, I quickly put it on just for the review, so no judgment for my quick application. But it’s actually moisturizing and not terrible and dry and gross feeling and it’s actually black. Also, not talked about enough the container has a little magnets in it and it’s really fun to fidget with. So even after I run out of it I’m going to keep the container/applicator / whatever it’s called.

love this satin lipstick! The texture is so smooth and creamy, it feels very comfortable on the lips without drying them out. The color goes on beautifully and looks rich and elegant. It gives a soft shine finish that looks natural but still glam.It lasts well for everyday wear, and even after eating, the color fades nicely instead of looking patchy. I also like that it feels light on the lips, like I’m not wearing much. Perfect for daily use or special occasions.Overall, great quality, lovely shades, and very hydrating. Definitely recommend if you want a soft, satin finish lipstick that looks and feels amazing!
