Love this deodorant!This deodorant has not stained the armpits of my shirts.Effectiveness: Great! The basil mint version has a gender neutral scent – my husband tried it on a camping trip, and is happy to report that it stops manly pit-stench for two days without reapplication. And my husband was not so dedicated about his detoxing.Note: I did a detox first, and some dietary changes, plus clay/apple cider vinegar locally on armpits for a few weeks before switching to Cleo+Coco.Reason for detoxing: All sorts of surprisingly awful smells came out of my sweat during the detox. I took showers twice a day. The theory as to why that stench happens is that antiperspirant prevents you from sweating out toxins, so years of nasty metabolites and toxins come out of your pores all at once when you allow yourself to detox and sweat again. The second reason for stench is that bacteria that feed on the sweat also produce stench, and clay in this deodorant absorbs the moisture instead of allowing bacteria to act on it.

Best deodorant ever
This is the last brand of deodorant for me I think. It glides on smooth, it is not sticky, there is NO white anything because it goes on clear, the scent is intoxicating and my sensitive skin is doing great. The first day I tried it, it smelt really strange at the end of the day, but you have to remember there is charcoal in it. The second day I tried it again and have been using it daily and I am surprised at how quickly my sweat seems to have changed. It’s smells cleaner even when not wearing the deodorant. It also lasts the entire day regardless of activities. I have no complaints only praises for this one.I am unable to use regular deodorants because my skin itches and can turn black if there is too much aluminium. After trying several natural deodorants that had too much baking soda, that left my clothes white and yellow, that needed to be reapplied regularly, that caused my armpits to swell…..I am happy to say I found a brand to buy again and again.

Does NOT help against ANY stink!
So I bought this product recently because the all natural patchouli deodorant didn’t seem to be working anymore. So I researched all over amazon and read multiple reviews and found that there were A LOT of positive reviews on this product. I used it for the first time a few days ago. The retail store I work in is actually extremely cold, so cold customers comment about how cold it is. I’m not overly bundled in clothes because obviously it’s retail so I can’t work being bundled. So since I’m not sweating at all, and before my day is even over I already smell HORRIBLE! I don’t have a sweat problem I don’t have a health condition, I just like to smell good ALL the time! And this makes me smell like I never even showered! I am beyond angry for spending $18 on a product that doesn’t work even a little bit. I won’t be using it anymore and I’m going to be very hesitant when reading reviews on Amazon as they seem to be people who were bribed to post good things! How can so many people say good things on a product that clearly doesn’t work and I don’t believe I was the only one having the same issue!

Best natural deodorant that works!!!
I initially found this brand and bought the first product from an Indie Beauty Convention I went to 2 years ago, the original formula was great for the summer until in the winter it got a bit difficult to apply. I read some reviews that some people were using a blow dryer to heat it up for a smoother glide I figured this would be my last shot at this deodorant.. However, I received an email stating that the formula has changed and that it is now easier to glide on and they had just launched the travel sticks. I figured I’d give it another shot since the scents smelled so great and I think it actually soften the skin under my arm. I fell in love with the travel sticks and when I was finished with the travel one I bought another full size one. I have used several natural deodorants and this one seems to stay on during hot summer days a little better than others I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a natural deodorant!!!

Great for BO, not great for my skin
In terms of deodorizing, I love this! I love the Lavender Vanilla scent and the deodorant lasts pretty much all day after a few days of adjusting to it. This is the only natural deodorant I’ve used where I could say that the product actually worked. That being said, I noticed extremely dark and tough patches of skin where I had been applying the stick after about a week. It wasn’t painful, but the patches were nearly black and I’m sure they would’ve gotten much worse had I continued using this deodorant. I’m assuming my skin is reacting poorly to the baking soda. If you’re not sensitive to baking soda, this deodorant is 10/10, but I couldn’t keep using it.If anyone had a similar experience and wants a tip: I was able to resolve the dark/rough patches by using Drunk Elephant TLC Sukari Babyfacial (AHA/BHA mask) on my armpits for 20 minutes after my evening shower. After removing the mask, I used Kosas AHA deodorant for more gentle exfoliation over the course of the night and following day. When I went to shower the following evening, the damaged skin peeled right off and my armpits looked shiny and new, actually smoother and brighter than before this whole deodorant trial.

I ordered this after Tarte discontinued the Clean Queen deodorant. I would give this one 5 stars but I cant because it ruined a few of my clothes. The scent is wonderful, its long lasting and does its job but if you are planning on wearing white or light coloured tops it will stain and nothing you can use to wash that out.
