Best color results I’ve found
I use my own 30 developer with the color.1) it’s cheaper than tubs2) it has the best results. It’s actually just straight black and it actually stays in my hair. It does fade some but I never question if it’s still black or dark brownI have tried nearly every box and quite a few tubes but nothing works as well.Plus the conditioner is AMAZING. I bleach part of my hair and I’ve over done it a couple times so it’s damages but that conditioner makes it feel and look amazing

Vibrant, beautiful color but too vibrant for me
The color is true to description and other reviews/pictures. I had medium brown hair and it turned very vibrant! actually too vibrant for my liking. Washed with dawn to help reduce to color. (Lots of pink dye washed out) I followed up with a baking soda mix with shampoo more pink dye rinsed out and then I deep conditioned. The color is still there but much more subtle now, which is what I was hoping for. The conditioner works very well, my hair is super silky now and it smells nice. Maybe if you have dark brown or black hair it would look more subtle but if your light/medium brown then your results will probably be vibrant

Good Coverage and Value, But Not Perfect
I’ve tried many hair dyes, and most are too expensive for just one use. This one stood out because I could use it twice, making it a better value. The coverage on my gray hair was solid and even, and the color looked natural rather than harsh. It also didn’t have an overpowering chemical smell, which was a nice bonus.However, it did fade a bit faster than I expected, especially around the temples where my grays are more stubborn. The conditioner helped keep my hair feeling soft, but I did notice some dryness after a couple of washes.Overall, it’s a good option for the price, especially since I got two uses out of it, but I wish the color lasted a little longer.

One of the best box dyes
My favorite box dye! I love this color. The process is so easy and I am always satisfied. The price is right. I have locs so i do 2 boxes to make sure i get my hair well saturated. I highly recommend this. If you have never colored your hair, just know it will most likely not come out too bright. I have low porosity so I keep color on hair longer than the box advises but keep an eye on things and trust your instinct so you don’t lose your hair! 10/10 recommend!

Colour match is off but good dye
I enjoyed the boxing, instructions, gloves were sized enough to fit me. The box said cocoa brown. My locs were burnt out from swimming in salt water and the sun so I was trying to even things out. I would say the brown on the box doesn’t quite match my hair colour in the end. However it certainly does its coloring duties. Love the conditioner as well.

Natural finish and made my hair healthy looking
this product not only colored my hair in a perfectly dark black way, but it also made it healthy. It came with a conditioner that gave my hair, smooth, finish almost like a treatment. I always go back to clairol because it’s a good brand and all my experience with clairol has been positive. I highly recommend buying this.

Easy to use & long lasting color
I’ve used the Natural Black and the Mocha Brown color and I’ve been happy with the results from both. I use it for my hair and my beard and my hair is thick and coarse so even though I’m a guy with shorter hair I still wind up using most of the bottle.So for a bit of background my natural hair color is probably the darkest Brown there is, but I have a lot of red and blonde hairs that pop up in my beard and hair especially in the summer and I’ve used both these colored eyes to get a more uniform look with it still being natural.The mocha brown is nice as it’s almost a cinnamon brown color, and I use it when I want to not make my hair super dark but I want to tame the red and blonde patches in my beard.I use the natural black for when I want to darken my hair especially since going black on the beard helps it look fuller. Now that I’ve started regularly trimming and maintaining my beard I’m switching to natural black as I only have to redo it once every month.It’s really easy to mix and the fact that you only have to leave it in for 20 minutes is great, you can put it in your hair get your shower, and get all your stuff ready and under an hour and be fine.I will say however that the darkest brown color will come off on your fingernails for several days after if you scratch your scalp or play with your hair too much though I haven’t had it stained any of my bed sheets or pillow cases. Try using warm water a day or two after you put it in to hopefully get it off your scalp.
