This is my daily sunscreen now — it’s lightweight, blends easily, and gives a soft, healthy glow. The tint evens out my skin tone just enough so I can skip foundation most days. Nice alternative to Korean or chemical-based sunscreens, and the tint smooths out skintone. No chalky white look. Subtle enough to be used by Men.This is a mineral-based SPF 30 sunblock without harmful chemical sunscreens that turn sunlight’s UV rays into infrared heat that cooks the skin, creating cancer [so ironic!].FYI: Hence the rising ‘skin’ cancer rates DESPITE so much Sunscreen use these days. People used to use Baby Oil at the beach, which was not good, either.Feom what I learned,Skin cancer is actually diet-based & in the rancid stored refined fats & various ‘bad’ toxins (such as copper in the fungicides used by Big Ag & clothes co’s) stored by the body in the fats & oils just below the constantly renewing skin, IF the liver-filter doesnt know how to safely get rid of them. Lack of anti-oxidants (such as a LOT of daily Whole Food Vit C complex, not plain ascorbic acid, unless in IV form) causes the wrinkles and sun damage. Humans (& primates) have a weird genetic defect where we do not make Vit C in our liver (like almost all other mammals), and often do not get enough every day. A deficiency can cause thin weak skin, fatigue, & eventually scurvy (easy bleeding, loosened teeth). It is ignored by Western-trained Doctors until it gets bad and requires ($$$) hospitalization and/or treatment.Hence the importantance of good ‘clean’ diet, keeping a strong immune system, avoiding synthetic chemicals, and not burning, so as to prevent signs of aging and certain cancers. Hence the millions of years of use of sunblocks like zinc & other minerals (mud!), fur or long hair, loose long clothes with a hood, trees, roofs, caves, and a healthy natural diet by all mammals & humans.This sunblock has little smell to it, a nice cream makeup-like texture, and Light, Medium, or Dark(ish) tint, and fairly good ‘coverage’. Medium was perfect for blending my ‘natural beige’ slightly tanned (for the natural Vit D that prevents cancer!) Caucasian skin tone, scars, spots, and a spattering of what used to be cute Irish freckles when I was younger, into a smooth skin tone on my face, arms, and parts of my legs, without looking chalky or drying the skin, like some concealers or 24 hr makeups w/sunscreen.I put it on my always-exposed face & upper chest, sometimes the back of my hands, then elsewhere as needed. I keep a light tan so I do not burn, which as we all know, damages the skin. Sun exposure is necessary for optimal health, and blood Vit D level >40 (in winter) is a biomarker for getting adequate full-spectrum sun (per large Norweigan studies).The CereV lasts as long as regular dept. store quality cream-based make-up, BUT costs a lot less IF you have a standard light, medium, or medium-dark tan skin color, dry, normal, or combo skin type, and are of the 80% with a neutral or golden-yellow undertone.Not sure how it would match up with a rosy-red or olive undertone, or breakout -prone oily skin, but probably would be better than most sunscreens, since zinc is very good for the skin and the immune system.The ‘Dark’ tint will be chalky on very dark brown-black skin.Hope this helps you!

Amazing for daily basis!
Really love the sunscreen, gives my face a super nice and glowy look when I don’t feel like wearing makeup at all. So it’s not a pale sunscreen feeling and great for warm summer days. Feels super light on skin and blends in perfectly. The price is just the downside since it’s a small tube and not super long lasting.

Obsessed with this product! I’m actually shocked at how well it works. It says sheer coverage, but somehow it still makes my skin look very smooth and even-toned without makeup. I haven’t worn foundation to work since buying this tinted sunscreen, as I prefer a more natural look anyway and this does the job. I feel like my skin is also healthier now probably from wearing makeup so infrequently! Also love that it’s mineral-based but it isn’t too thick and obviously doesn’t leave a white cast. It goes on very smooth, doesn’t make my eyes water, and feels like almost nothing is there. Highly recommend!

Wonderful product from a good skincare brand! Good ingredients and non-comedogenic, which is so key! It also provides the perfect amount of color with flexible coverage. Smooth, moisturizing application too (if you’re looking for something very matte, this may not be it). Although after about 20 minutes, on my skin, it doesn’t look shiny.I carried this during a trip recently and was pleasantly surprised. I wore it during my morning jogs and despite working up a sweat, I didn’t have any breakouts. During the day, with the amount I usually use for sunscreen, I looked well-rested. One day, I layered on a bit more and wore with bronzer, blush, mascara and eyeliner. It worked great as a light foundation and still looked good three hours later. It did not pil which is usually my concern. Last, but not least, you can’t beat the price-point! With so many other tinted sunscreens around $40, this is a great buy. Highly recommend.

Chasing the Elusive Glow!
I was really looking forward to trying this CeraVe tinted moisturizer with spf 30. I am in my 70’s with decent skin, a few wrinkles. I wanted the spf to help keep dark spots to a minimum, and I was hoping my skin would have some coverage and a little glow. I have light to medium skin tone. I tried the light tone first but it was way too light. I immediately ordered the medium. The medium blended with my skin tone much better. The product felt nice and seemed to moisturize my skin but there was no coverage at all and no glow. I actually applied a second coat but it was no better. Additionally, my face started burning after a few minutes. This lasted for maybe 15 minutes and then stopped. I don’t see any advantage to using this other than spf. My favorite (and less expensive) choice is Maybelline Dream BB Cream with spf 30. I can wear light or medium tone and coverage is better. Also, there is glow. Realistically, nothing is going to make this skin have the vibrance of young skin but hope springs eternal.

A huge win for dry acne prone skin
If you are also cursed with dry, acne prone skin, this is a win. Most sunscreens break me out, chemical sunscreens will 100% of the time and mineral sunscreens still often do. Not only does this not break me out but it helps with my dry skin. I could see people with oily skin not liking this, but it is a savior for me. It goes on very wet looking but after a few minutes dries down and looks like I have nothing on. My only gripe is I got the medium and I feel like it makes me look a little gray, it is much more light than the picture depicts. I use self tan and will probably opt for the dark next time.

Llevaba meses buscando un protector solar que no me dejara la piel grasosa, ni blanca como fantasma, y finalmente encontré en CeraVe FPS 30 justo lo que necesitaba con acabado como de maquillaje.Desde el primer uso me sorprendió su textura ligera y cremosa. Se aplica súper fácil y se absorbe rápido, sin dejar residuos pegajosos ni sensación pesada. Mi piel es mixta, con zonas secas y otras grasas, y este bloqueador logró equilibrar perfectamente sin generar brillo innecesario. Además, es no comedogénico, así que no me ha causado ni un solo brote (¡eso ya es ganancia!).Otro punto que me encantó es que tiene ceramidas y niacinamida, así que no solo protege del sol, también ayuda a fortalecer la barrera de la piel y a mantenerla hidratada. Se siente más como una crema facial con beneficios solares, lo cual me encanta para uso diario, incluso bajo el maquillaje.Lo he usado en días calurosos, caminatas al aire libre e incluso en oficina con luz artificial, y me da tranquilidad saber que estoy protegida sin sentir que traigo una capa encima.
