The absolute best hand cream on the market!
I’ve been a Burt’s Bee’s fan since before it was cool, I’m talking 20+ years ago. I’ve also been an RN for almost 39 years.We wash our hands A LOT, hospital paper towels are like fine sand paper and to be honest? Super cheap.I think I am an expert on advising what hand cream works, believe me I’ve tried them all. I’ve had countless colleagues tout this hand cream or that hand cream.THIS IS THE ONLY ONE THAT WORKS!So the scent? to me it smells medicinal for lack of a better term.I honestly wouldn’t care what it smells like as I don’t get the cracks in the corners of my finger nails that are so painful and not to mention invite an infection. My hands are smooth and not red with tiny micro cuts in them. This cream has been my one and only go to for years.

THANKFULLY HEALS THE CRACKS IN MY SKIN
I live in a semi arid part of the country and have always developed painful cracks in my skin on my fingers and thumbs, especially in the dry winter months. And, over the years, I have tried about everything to moisturize my hands. I finally found this product and it works for me. I rub it in before bed and it does a great job of moisturizing my hands. It does have a scent, which I find pleasant. It is not greasy, but it does leave a film on my hands, which is why I apply it before bed. I have used this product for awhile now and I recommend it.

Okay but effective
Moisturizing hand lotion. Helps my dry knuckles in the winter. Not a huge fan of the smell, it is very green and nature-y. Kind of like a tomato vine mixed with lavender. I was hoping that the tube would be aluminum but it is plastic. The product is super thick so it is hard to squeeze out the proper amount of product. I get a full hand workout every time I use this. The packaging is cute though and is an aesthetic addition to my handbag. Overall, I would probably not buy this again because there is better out there, but it is still good at what it does.

Don’t like the scent
This brand makes great hand creams, however, I don’t really care for the scent of this one. I typically use the honey & grape seed and it smells wonderful. I mistakenly ordered the shea butter, but cannot get past the unpleasant smell of it and won’t use it. I already tossed both boxes, so I’m not able to return them. I’ve only given 3 stars because of the unpleasant scent.

Burt’s Bees Shea Butter Hand Repair Cream
I’ll start off by saying the smell of this hand cream might not be for everyone, but I’ve grown to be fond of it over time. My boyfriend describes the smell as “ditch weeds” but would enjoy me putting it on his very dry hands so he, too, has become fond of it but doesn’t like to admit it. I first tried this hand cream as a small sample size in the Burt’s Bees “Hand Repair Kit” which I would recommend trying if you may be unsure if you’d like the smell of it. The hand cream is very thick and rather oily. A little goes a long way and will soak in to your hands pretty quick if you only put on a thin layer. Put it on too thick and your hands will be oily and slippery for a couple hours, so don’t do that. It does leave your hands feeling very soft after a few uses. I have eczema and sensitive skin, and this hand cream has kept my hands feeling moisturized without causing any irritation. If you can get past the interesting smell, your hands will thank you for it.
