Briogeo’s Vanilla Birthday Cake hair mask is one of my favorites.
I always stock up on Briogeo’s Vanilla Birthday Cake hair mask whenever it comes back in stock or goes on sale. I prefer this scent over the original. It reminds me a lot of Sol de Janeiro’s Bum Bum Cream (that warm salted caramel and golden pistachio vibe), but wrapped in layers of vanilla cake and topped with a rich, homemade buttercream. As a gourmand girlie, it smells incredible to me.The mask itself is very rich and nourishing, so I avoid my oily-prone roots and keep it focused on my lengths and ends. It does an amazing job of smoothing and softening my dry, color-treated lengths of hair. My hair is fine, but this doesn’t weigh it down at all when I keep it off the scalp. It leaves my hair feeling noticeably stronger, silkier, and more hydrated, with my split ends looking sealed and less frizzy.The vanilla scent lingers lightly in my hair after rinsing and drying, and it’s creamy and comforting vanilla, but not overpowering.Overall, this is one of my favorite deep conditioning masks, and the birthday cake scent just makes me happy, along with the cute, limited edition packaging. I pray that they eventually make a chocolate cake scented mask as well.

Great deep conditioner for low porosity hair!
I love this air mask for my low porosity curly hair! It’s soo moisturizing, great quality and makes my hair feel soo soft. It smells pretty nice too, nothing special tho. I loveee using this on my wash days and definitely reccommend it!

LOVEEE.. for years and years
I have loved this brand and their deep conditioners/hair masks for yearsssss. I’m a bit of a hair snob when it comes to pricey products such as shampoos, styling products, etc. I mean you typically get what you pay for, especially when it comes to hair care. However, I love how they offer you his deep conditioner in a smaller size at such an affordable price point. This product truly does work and does everything it claims it will. I’ve used this numerous times over the years, then try other products but slways end up coming back to Briogeo and their hair masks & deep conditioners. The other types they have are also amazing as well. I can always see an immediate difference in my hair after just one use. It gives me extra softness, shine and moisture!! Love this. 10/10 would recommend for anyone who needs a little TLC for their hair.

Another fabulous Briogeo product for wavy, soft curls…
I unfortunately had a new hairdresser that left the bleach on, under heat, for too long! This left my usually soft, wavy to medium curly hair dry and brittle for months. I decided to try this Deep Repair mask from Briogeo and was more than pleasantly surprised. Let me see if I can find the pics for you…this product is amazing. There! First pick wet annd damaged. Next after using this for a few months. Ever since then I use this mask one to two times weekly to keep my hair soft, shiny and my curls not weighed down or sticky. It is medium-high cost but you don’t need a bunch. The jar lasts about two months for me as I use Briogeo daily conditioning products in between. Great regular scent or this limited edition Birthday Cake are both wonderful, light and actually compliment my perfume. Really pleased!

Not worth it – Much of a hassle
I’ve tried multiple top-of-the-line hair care brands, and honestly, this hair mask just doesn’t live up to the hype. I have to use it the day before I actually wash my hair because it leaves my hair dry and knotted on its own. The next day, after re-washing, my hair feels a little softer — but not enough to justify the extra effort.For the price, it’s really not worth the hassle. The scent is fine, but it smells more like a teenage girl’s hair product than something luxurious. It also leaves my hair feeling heavy and weighed down, which is why I always have to rewash it to get that soft, shiny feel.Overall, I won’t be repurchasing this. If you want something better in the same price range, try amika — it’s much easier to use and gives better results without all the frustration.

Overpriced for the results
I have 3c/4a the curls. I bought this product a few months ago and was looking for something to repair some damage. I saw a little of a difference but to be honest, you can get way better products for cheaper prices. Even my at home oil treatments I make myself work better. I will say, it leaves my hair veryyyy soft and smooth and hydrated to the point where I could just rinse it out after shampoo and wear no other products all day. I’m not necessarily saying it doesn’t repair damage, just that it’s super overpriced for how little of a difference is there.For quality, not liquidity or thick, kinda in between. Me and my sister shared this bottle and got a good 10 uses (5 each) in total. Although our hair is medium length, we have thicker hair so it ran kinda quickly. Product was okay not bad.Recommendations: I’ve been just buying jojoba oil (or you can buy any organic carrier oils such as coconut oil, rosehip oil, grapeseed oil) and you can choose to heat it up for a few seconds or leave it alone up to you. Let it sit in your hair for an hour to two hours and then wash hair. This is so super yet so effective so try this for a start.

Excellent treatment mask i recently had my hair bleached highlights i have wavy frizzy hair so I used vo5 hot oil then k18 4 minute mask briorgeo treatment mask brushed through evenly through the hair left in for 10 minutes then i diluted with water and massaged and scrunched i then rinsed and added innersense I create volume and innersense foam scrunched with a T shirt then defused my hair looks shiny and bouncy better than before the bleach i love this combo and I will use briorgeo now on a weekly basis.

I have very thin, fine hair that’s wavy/loose curls and had never used any products to take care of it so it was very frizzy and damaged even though I never use heat or dye. It would get very dry and I had split ends right up to my root, so I used this to try to help repair some of that and help with the dryness. I’ve only used it a few times up until now, but it has helped so much!! The fragrance isn’t too strong and doesn’t linger or leave a strong smell in my hair which I like because I’m a bit sensitive to strong fragrances, and it made my hair so soft and genuinely has reduced the frizz so much, and hopefully over time it will help repair the split ends a bit too! I highly recommend and definitely will be buying again, so worth it
