Just what my damaged hair needed
This hair mask made my hair feel silky smooth afterwards! I am due for a haircut, but until then I have been trying to take care of it and make it feel softer again. I noticed my hair felt silky, like seaweed, in the shower. When I rinsed it out it felt soft and very easy to run my hands through it. It looked really great after I blowdried my hair too!

Great for a shower, needs more staying power
I have very fine, very straight hair that is below shoulder length. I find that the ends of my hair get very dry and need some love to maintain the length. This deep conditioner is an occasional use product to help me stretch out hair cuts. While the product has a pretty strong floral scent during use, I find that it entirely dissipates by the time my hair is dry. This isn’t really a mask, even though you leave it on for an extended period of time. I do notice that my ends are softer and silkier after use. It’s much easier to get a comb thru my hair when I use this product. I just wish that the impact lasted a bit longer. I get maybe two days of improvement. At more than 3$/oz when I got this, this product just doesn’t last long enough for the full five stars.

Smells amazing!
My first thought about this hair mask was how amazing it smelled! I am extremely sensitive to smells and get headaches from even the mildest of perfumey smells, but this was a nice, light floral scent that I really enjoyed using. I could smell it while I used it and while my hair was wet, but couldn’t smell it anymore after my hair was dry.I have used it a few times and it seems to work very well on my fine curly hair. I was skeptical because it felt like there was a siliconey residue left in my hair when I rinsed it out, but it was non-existent after drying. It didn’t weigh my hair down at all, which I was worried about. It also really seemed to help moisturize my hair after a lot of abuse from salt water while on a beach vacation.My only complaint is that it wasn’t clear whether it was a treatment to be followed by my regular conditioner or if it was to replace my regular conditioner. I tried it both ways and got similar results, so I just use it to replace my regular conditioner when I use it.Overall, very nice product and the price seems reasonable for the amount you use and how often you use it.

I like the results but I cannot tolerate the smell
This hair mask dishes out very desirable results. However, as someone who is prone to migraines, the fragrance was a no-go for me. It’s a very strong, perfumy scent that lingered for a really long time even after rinsing out the product. I’m a bit bummed out cause I was excited to try this mask and I want to continue using it but I don’t think I can at the expense of getting migraines and nausea. 🙁

Left my hair soft and healthy
Really liked this mask—my hair felt noticeably softer and more manageable after using it. The texture is rich but not too heavy, and it rinses out easily. I’ve been using it once a week and it’s a great boost for dry or damaged ends. Smells nice too without being overpowering.

I will start this off by saying that my hair is extremely picky. My skin will take just about whatever I throw at it, but the wrong thing in my waist-length hair and it turns into a dry, frizzy, flyaway mess. Needless to say, I am very particular about the hair products that I will use, or often even try.Already being familiar with Acure and having great past experiences with them, I was willing to give it a shot. And I am glad that I did. This hair mask provides a deep nourishing treatment that hydrates and boosts shine and silkiness, leaving hair soft and smelling great without weighing it down. The leave in time is 5-10 minutes, and I left it on for close to 10 for that extra bit of oomph. I did still have to use hair oils on the ends afterwards, as I typically do, but for the ease of use and cost of product this provided all of the things that I was looking for in a once-a-week conditioning treatment.Acure is known for their high quality natural and organic based and vegan products, and this product was no exception.

Good conditioner, not quite as good as a mask
Did some deep conditioning but the results don’t seem to have much of a lasting effect, gone by the next wash. I want a mask to leave some lingering effects for the time to treat.Smells lovely and makes a nice conditioner, but not quite up to the par of a treatment. Still not a bad value for that though.
