It’s a good product. High-quality. The criticism from many will likely be the amount you get for the price.The hold is listed as medium, I would say light to medium. The smell is herbal in nature and very light. Those who are familiar with the Brickell unscented products will recognize it.The quality of the ingredients is top level. Oregon oil, aloe vera, vitamin E, eucalyptus, peppermint, rosemary, camellia leaf extract are just a few along with sugarcane and maple sugar.The texture is comparable to most hair gels, although perhaps slightly lighter and “creamier“. The finish is semi glossy. Rinses easily and leaves the hair feeling soft and nourished.As mentioned earlier, the amount you get for the price, will be a sticking point for some. An argument can be made for the quality of what you’re getting just looking at the buy depending on the amount and hold you are used to, it may not be for everybody. If it could be managed to make it 3 ounces instead of 2, that might be the thing that gets more people on board, but for those who make the jump, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.Cruelty, free and organic is always a plus.I plan on purchasing again, maybe as a Christmas present or something of that nature.The packaging is high-quality and works well. Delivery from Amazon, of course was faster than usual.

Good hold and doesn’t make hair look
I’ve been using this hair gel for a while now and am happy with the results. Before getting into the pros and cons, I wanted to describe my hair type and style. I have relatively thick and dense hair, with some big curls forming when my hair grows longer. I generally use the gel mid-to-end of each haircut period when my hair gets into the curl phase, and I’d like to give it more shape and hold. Below are the points that stood out for me:Strong Hold: It keeps my hair in place all day.Neutral Shine: It gives my hair a very neutral and natural shine. The shine is not wet or greasy looking.No Flaking: This gel leaves no flakes or residue even after a full day of wearing it.Scent: The scent would be the only downside to this gel as it smells a bit earthy. I would’ve preferred a bit of cologne scent.Easy to Wash Out: It washes out easily and doesn’t leave residue behind.Overall, this is a good hair gel, and I recommend it!

I got this gel because it was supposedly scent-free, but it isn’t. It has a light tea tree oil smell, nothing overpowering but still scented. Medium hold. It doesn’t make your hair hard at all but doesn’t hold it in place. Nice for a slicked-back look. It keeps the strays and frizz away. The negative here is the price. It is very pricey for the amount you get and won’t last long if you’re using it daily. I will look for something a little less expensive for sure.

Holds your hair in place no problem but the best thing is your hair is not left sticky or matted. Washes out no problem. Has a very mild mint fragrance but after application it’s barely noticeable. Best I’ve tried.
