The ONLY sunscreen that I use
I have been using BLUE LIZARD SPF50 Australian Mineral Sunscreen since 2018 when we first went to Mexico.The resort we were going to in 2018 suggested that we use mineral sunscreen for their beach and expeditions. I started doing research and found Blue Lizard.I am not a tanner. I was in my 30’s but when I started to see the damage that it was doing to my skin I decided that my days in the sun were over. I am now in my 60’s and regret the damage the I have done to my skin by exposing it to sun.When we go to Mexico I always bring 2 or 3 8.75oz bottles of Blue Lizard SPF50 for our 2 week trips to protect my skin. It has done an AMAZING job of protecting me. Whether in the pool, on a bali bed or walking to our next destination the sun is always present. We try to stay in the shade but it is not always possible. By using this sunscreen I do not burn and I get minimum colour, which is exactly what I want, even with the Mexican sun beating down on us.It is best to apply a good 15 minutes before going out in the sun. Since it has zinc it does go on with a sheen but when rubbed in the sheen dissipates. I do not apply a thick layer. As a matter of fact on our last trip I purchased a sponge applicator which worked beautifully and I did not have to use my hands to rub it in. A thin layer went on, the sponge worked it in and no more lotion on my hands!If you haven’t tried it yet know that it is a great protection for your skin from the sun. And if you have tried it I am not surprised that you are coming back for more.

My husband is very sensitive to the sun. He does not tan he burns he is also a fisherman he’s on his boat a lot. This cost a little more that your cheap ones, but it works he does not get burned with this on. It’s also healthier for your skin. We scanned the product on the Yuka app and it has a very high rating. This is now the only sunscreen my husband will use.

FINALLY a lotion that doesn’t burn my eyes!
I’m more sensitive than most people to sun tan lotion burning my eyes and summer generally means many days with burning eyes. Someone on the web mentioned this may solve that problem and I’m happy to report it has! Highly recommend if you stopped by to see if this is good for your burning eye problem.

Pretty good but thicker than expected
This sunscreen is pretty thick. I didn’t expect it to be because it comes out of the tube easily. The coverage is pretty good though. You definitely have to run it in for a minute because its got a slightly purplish color that only goes away if really rubbed in. Its lasts a while which I did appreciate.

Safe for Hawaii
Purchased for a trip to Hawaii and knew I needed a mineral sunscreen. I found it worked better when I was able to rub it in as I was getting dressed for the day. If I waited to apply while I was out for the day, it gave us all a white film. Did not feel sticky. Will purchase again.

Amazing spf
As an esthetician I have tried many sunscreens. I have more fair, sensitive skin so this thicker, sheer mineral spf does my skin wonders. Everyone always compliments my glow after I apply this specific spf. The thicker mineral shields my skin more and helps reduce my redness. It’s a must have spf!

Protect your skin!
Very happy with this sunscreen. Reef safe! Never burned and we were in the hot Mexico sun. There could be some white cast but if you rub it in and do not use more than you are supposed to, you can avoid it somewhat.

Para mi es la mejor crema solar que he probado. Tengo la piel muy sensible y siempre me quemo, menos con blue lizard. He probado otros bloqueadores solares pero no me gustaron tanto, o eran demasiado grasientos o no protegían. En la lista de ewg 2019 sunscreen, blue lizard se valora con un 1, la mejor nota posible porque no tiene ingredientes nocivos. Tiene base de zinc, se aplica con facilidad y no deja manchas blancas. Sin olor. El bote cambia de color con la radiación.Por decir algo negativo – cantidad es poca y el precio demasiado elevado. Para unas vacaciones en la playa calcula un bote por persona
