My mother-in-law had difficulty dyeing her hair on her own, so I found this product for her.Without thinking, I pumped some onto my palm and applied it to her hair. At first, I didn’t see any change in color, so I thought it wasn’t enough, so I added more.I told her to rinse it out after 20 minutes. When I got home, I was shocked to see my hands.The area where the shampoo had gotten on my palms had turned a dark brown. I quickly washed it off with soap, but my palms were stained for days.My mother-in-law said I’d applied too much, and the color was darker than expected, but when I checked, her hair was quite naturally dyed.I think she could maintain her natural brown color if she shampooed it once a week or once every ten days.It didn’t have the typical ammonia smell of dye, was easy to apply, and proved to be quite effective. I’d like to try another color myself.Her hair also feels softer without being damaged, which is a nice plus for the price.

Always do a test patch!I used this dye in Dark Brown and the color turned out beautifully: rich, even, and excellent gray coverage. It’s definitely a dark brown (almost black), but my hair tends to grab color darker. I’m sure it’ll fade gradually with each wash, but I love dark hair, so I’m happy with it. It’s super easy to use since it works like a shampoo. I also appreciated that it came with a cape, shower cap, and ear protectors. I used them all and rinsed them clean for next time.The product has a slight chemical odor, but it’s tolerable and fades quickly. It can be a bit drying, so I recommend following with a hydrating shampoo and conditioner.Be careful during application! It can stain porcelain and counters, so lay down an old towel or work over a protected surface. I used about six pumps and still have plenty left. It can get messy, so use the back of your hand to pump the product instead of your palm once you’ve started applying.I did have some irritation near my temple afterward (my scalp was fine), so if you have sensitive skin, make sure to keep it off your skin and always do a patch test first. Keep a damp washcloth handy to wipe off any dye immediately if it touches your skin. That’s the only reason I didn’t give it five stars.Overall, I’m very happy with the results and plan to use it again, just with a little extra caution next time!

I was really impressed with the KAISASA Black Hair Dye Shampoo. The product works exactly as described. It wasn’t messy at all, and it covered my grey hair beautifully. What surprised me most was how well the color has lasted — it’s been almost four weeks, and there’s still very little noticeable fading.Since this was my first time using it, I left it on for about 25 minutes, and that seemed to be the perfect amount of time. Awesome Product
I received the hair dye and I just love it! I’m never using packaged dye again. It is so easy to use and lathers up very well. I saw it begin to color my gray immediately. I noticed that it softened my hair as I put it on and my hair is coarse and dry. Lastly the clean up was so easy especially on my white counter tops. No stains! Now to see how long the color last after a few washes.

Not a shampoo. This is permanent hair dye.
Perhaps I overlooked something, but I believed this would be a safer, less chemical alternative to boxed hair dye. However, it’s not. It’s permanent hair color in a shampoo container, filled with the same harmful chemicals found in boxed hair dye. Nevertheless, if you’re not seeking a less harmful option, this is quite convenient, and to be fair the color is beautiful and my hair feels soft. Just be cautious as it can stain surfaces. It’s very effective in covering grays, as it should since it is regular hair dye.
