Best Tattoo Friendly Sunscreen I’ve
This sunscreen is awesome. I love the texture. The label says it’s a gel-lotion and this is spot on. Sunscreen is so often too think, leaves a white cast, or smells weird. This one rubs on like gel with a slight lotion feel, and doesn’t make my skin feel greasy. Every sunscreen I’ve used, as well as most body lotions, make my tattoos itch like crazy. This is the first one that works for sensitive skin and doesn’t make me itch. Their matte face sunscreen also dries me out (I do love the feel and ease of use) and my skin is normal for this body sunscreen. Definitely recommend.

My favorite sunscreen with NO greasiness and a pleasant smell that dissipates quickly. It also has zero white cast!

Balls up as it’s applied
I would give this zero stars if I could. No matter what I do, this stuff rolls up into little balls on my face as I try to apply it. At first I thought it was a product I was putting on under it, but the same thing occurs if I put it on my clean dry face with nothing under it. At the very least it did not break my skin out.

I’ve been told, professionally, to stay out of the sun. To not let it touch my skin even for minutes. So I wear this stuff a lot.This is my favorite.

relatively good
in short, it’s relatively ok considering the price and volume. it does dry pretty fast which leads to pilling, but i found out that if you rub in some lotion or water the pilling goes away. but it doesn’t pill when it’s applied to the body like the arms or legs, for example. it also leaves a slight white cast since it is a mineral sunscreen.

Best Mineral Sunscreen
In prepping for vacation we found the USVI’s has banned the use of chemical sunscreens containing reef damaging ingredients and researched alternatives. I’d tried many in the past and read about Bare Minerals on several travel forums. This works great, doesn’t leave the skin looking ghost white. I liked how the gel lotion rubbed into my skin well and isn’t harmful to the ocean! I’ll buy again.

Favorite of the mineral screens
Easiest of the mineral screens I tried to apply. Quick to dry but stays spreadable long enough to do an arm or leg at one go or two goes. Came home from hiking in Hawaii without sun burn, so it holds up against sun and sweat. Is not overly or unpleasantly scented. I did look even paler than normal, but it was just “been indoors a lot” pale not as creepy as some zinc screens.Not as nice as unseen sunscreen, but much cheaper, reef safe-ish, and nice enough my partner with sensory issues will use it without whingeing.
