Overly fragile
Maybe I just haven’t used a lot of pumice stones, but I’m not overly impressed with the actual stones. What I did really like was the two different shapes, that they come on ropes to hang to dry, and everything about the packaging. They came in a nice little box with some crinkle paper in it which makes it feel like it would be at home in a gift basket. They’re individually wrapped in cellophane which was a little fiddly to get off but I appreciated it all the same. However, immediately upon taking the wrapping off I noticed they were shedding black particles from the stones, and continued to do so as I wet them and just gently handled them. They really shed when in proper use. They’re simultaneously more abrasive than what I’m used to and more fragile; it feels like if I were to grip them too hard they’d snap. Surely I shouldn’t be able to press my fingernail straight into the surface, and I can already see wear on the surface from where it’s worn down a bit. I don’t anticipate them to hold up to long term use.

Not Too Aggressive And They Float
I’ve been spending more time on my feet exercising over the last year and my feet have been letting me know about it. Even with properly fitted sneakers and insoles, I’m still developing the occasional blister and callus. I’ll fix the blister problem immediately, but then I’m left with the callus to deal with.Enter this pair of pumice stones. Large enough to make short work of callus removal on my size 11 feet but still small enough to get into the areas between toes where sometimes a bit of aggressive exfoliation is warranted. Both stones float so they are very easy to keep track of as you work around your feet. What appears to be a jute rope is attached at the factory so the stones can be hang dried. A few minutes with these stones leaves my feet smooth and feeling good after a short softening soak.Each stone arrived with a shrink-wrap cover and the pair were nicely nestled in bed of paper shreds. If you aren’t getting these for yourself, they would make a nice gift for someone that practices self-care.

I love that this is a natural product that works well. We leave it hung up in our shower so it is handy. It works great for removing calluses and softening the feet in general. I love that this kit comes with two sizes so that you can reach all the areas you need to with ease.

At just six dollars, this pumice stone set is a fantastic value. I really appreciate the thoughtful design. The larger palm-sized stone is perfect for heels, foot pads, and the sides of my feet. The smaller, more pointed stone is ideal for tackling barbell calluses on my hands.Both stones feel lightweight and natural in the hand, and I love that they come with hemp rope loops for easy hanging and drying right in the shower. They also arrive in a nice giftable box if you’re thinking of sharing.Nothing groundbreaking or new here. Just a solid, classic pumice set with smart design choices that make it a pleasure to use.

Very lightweight
This nicely packaged set of pumice stones is surprisingly lightweight. As others have noted, there are a lot of gritty crumbs when opening and using. I don’t foresee these lasting a long time but the price is right and it’s nice to have two separately shaped options.
