The ONLY menstrual cup that I can use comfortably and works flawlessly!
I’m not a picky person, and I like to try all different kinds of menstrual products to find what works best for me and my lifestyle. I use tampons through the day, menstrual cups for my long 12hr shifts, and pads or menstrual cups for sleep. I have gravitated towards menstrual cups because of the environmental impact of pad/tampon waste. The other benefits are also that you don’t have to spend money every month when you get your periods (just reuse these for every period, no need to buy more. And I have a little sterilizer at home to keep it nice and clean). They also have a MUCH longer wear time, so it is great for sleeping comfortably or, as I mentioned, my long 12 hour shifts with barely any time for breaks. The first time I tried a menstrual cup, it was a different brand and it was absolutely horrendous!! Definitely a learning curve, but also since it suctions onto your cervix, It was painful/miserable to remove! I almost thought I was going to have to get it removed at my OBGYN lol. But I didn’t give up, and I bought the Flex cup. What is so great about it is that it has a suction release tab on it, so I have NEVER had any issue taking this out. It is easy to insert and remove, has a little loop to grab onto making it even easier to pull out, fits perfectly and feels like I am wearing nothing.I DID have some leaks which was a huge disappointment BUT that was before I got a bigger size (when I bought this, I had never had any kids and was in my mid 20s so I thought the smaller one would suit me). I swallowed my pride and got a bigger one, it’s still easy to place, and it has never leaked for me. Lasts me the full 12 hours without any mess and feels like I’m wearing nothing at all. Yes, you may get some blood on your fingers with insertion and removal, but not in your underwear and that is a miniscule price to pay for the countless benefits of a menstrual cup.Overall, I highly recommend this menstrual cup and if you DO have leaks or if you hear of anyone that has had issues with these leaking, it likely isn’t the product but the person. They just need a bigger size (speaking from experience).Hope this helps!

Best Cup on the Market for a High Cervix
LOVE LOVE LOVE FLEX CUP!!!!!! I have been a pads girly my whole menstruating life. When I was in my early 20s, I developed an allergy to the pads I had “ALWAYS” used. It was awful. I switched to all natural disposables for a few years and then switched to reusable pads which I LOVE! But I got tired of having to rinse them out and clean them. It gets to be a bit much if you’re on a heavy period. I tried the Viv cup a few years ago. Didn’t work for me and scared the 💩 outa me so I didn’t try another cup until recently. I ordered the pixie cup and discovered that I have a high cervix. I couldn’t get it out. My husband had to get it out for me. I researched cups for a high cervix that also had a ring and came upon Flex. This has been the best experience ever! I love her. I don’t feel it when it’s in, mess free, easy to insert with the punch down fold and super easy to remove because when you pull on the ring, it breaks the seal for you which is a total game changer as someone with a high cervix and short fingers. I can insert it and I’m set for 12 hours. This paired with my meds for my cramps and I can almost forget I’m on my period.

good for beginners!!!
to preface, this is the first and only cup i’ve used so i have no idea how it compares to others. but i really love it! i got the small version because i have never given birth and my flows are pretty average. my thoughts:1. (pro) it can hold overnight. it’s best to wear a liner/pad in the beginning of your cycle if you are just starting out, but if you have used a cup for a while, you are likely able to tell when to change based on experience.2. (pro) it really is mess free! the tab completely breaks the seal and can be pulled from there. it can hurt at the beginning if you only pull from the tab, but after a few times it becomes routine and you do not notice.3. (pro) you do not feel or smell anything at all! kind of self explanatory.4. con) i was caught off guard by the fact that it shifts. i’m not sure if this is just a me thing, but the cup will suddenly shift inside when i sit, stretch, or any other random movement. nobody told me about this so it caught me very off guard, but this only happens once after inserting and it is also something you get used to.5. (neutral) you are not really able to measure your flow as easily as you would with a traditional pad or tampon. when you take a potty break, you are physically able to see if a pad or tampon is full, but with the cup you have to pull it out and see. it’s not a big deal at all for me, but if you are tracking through an app or such you will have to adjust to a new way of measuring.6. (neutral) you must boil it periodically. this one’s for my lazy, dorming, or roomating-having menstruators. it is not something you should be ashamed of (or avoid doing)! it is a little inconvenient in these situations though.7. (neutral) the storage bag is so cute. i label this as neutral because don’t take it anywhere with me, the cup lasts all day so i don’t have a particular reason to, but it’s one of those things you just love to see. like getting a pretty bottle of shampoo — nobody sees it besides you, but you feel nice getting it!!overall i do recommend this cup solely for its mess-free design. like everyone says, there is definitely a learning curve but this cup is great as a first. i don’t know how keen i would be about a cup if not for the pull tab. it is a little of a hefty price considering how cheap cups CAN be, but it is definitely worth the price & pays for itself over time considering it is a one time purchase and lasts for years. better for the environment as well. i love it!

This product is Amazing! Now I don’t mind this monthly occurrence anymore. I have been a long term tampon user and gave this ago. It’s so nice and flexible and soft and easy to insert. It really works. It lasts much longer than a tampon so going out and avoiding public toilets becomes a possibility. It is better for the environment too. It will last a good 10 years and replace a few thousand tampons and pads.Keep playing with the cup until you find the right spot for your body. I still use a tiny liner for those minor stains that may result from moving or running – a single toilet sheet will do the job too. After the second time I used my blood clots stopped and now the flow is so easy.I recommend the full cup for anyone. Better to wear it all day long rather than having to change half way.Customer service is excellent. If you need support just email them and they give you plenty of tips.Packaging is lovely. I have been giving them to my friends as gift to encourage better environmental footprint.

I have been using menstrual cups for over 10 years now and I absolutely couldn’t imagine going back. I have one that I prefer and it’s getting old and needs replacing, so I read about alternatives and I found Flex. I can’t tell you how impressed I am! The stem is easy to find and very flexible. It is also moveable and helps break the seal. Other than writing an essay to explain it all. Just buy this one. you will never buy any other. Its quite literally the best menstrual cup I have ever tried by FAR and I’ve tried many! I would like to sincerely thank the designers on such an amazing job and making women’s life easier.

I recently purchased my first ever cup and it was a traumatic experience. It made its way really high and was impossible for me to get out. I saw that this flex cup had a loop that you could pull to remove so I thought I’d give it a go. I’ve managed to remove it easily each time, even when it has decided to move really high. Such a relief! I’ve knocked a star off just because it does get a little messy during removal due to the hole. It’s worth remembering that you shouldn’t pull too hard as you end up pulling the plug through. Honestly though the small mess is worth it compared to the embarrassing removal I had with my first cup!

Beginning with this was a bit hard. I’ve been using cups for over 10 years at this point and this has it’s pros and cons .+It’s easier to remove+It’s quite easy to clean+It doesn’t feel if it’s inserted correctly-it’s prone to leaks-if you pull it out too hard, the pulling “cord” gets stuck

I used it for one whole period. Now after the second period, the cup does not want to return to its original position. It just sits like in the pictures – no matter what I do to turn it back how it was. Maybe I am too agressive 😀 If this was a normal cup without the “patented stem”, I could still use it, and now I have to look for a new one that won’t distort. It ended up nicely in the trash, where it belongs.
