I bought this for the small file, so I can do my hands… But its curved, and it does not work well. The main part does work well though, but now the small one pops out when I use the main device.There are no rivets to get in the way, I don’t know how easy this is to clean as it does have seams and I don’t know if its glue or compression that holds it in. I’m thinking that if it was in a sonic cleaner that it will probably let go, so maybe just an old toothbrush to get the stuff out of the seams?It has a circular pattern making it easier to cut in all directions. I have one with lines that has issues cutting in only certain directions. The rough side curves inward, making it easier for heels and such, but bad for arches. It has a wide cutting area, i’d say around 5″ long by 2″ wide. It has the texture of around maybe 150grit sandpaper. It works best damp, and in moments you will have the parmesan cheese effect. Be careful not to take too much off. It works fast, faster than anything i’ve used before.On the flip side is the smooth side, which I find works pretty well dry. Its very smooth, i’d say around 400grit but still too coarse for hands. The edges butt up against the plastic making it hard to get into the nooks.You’ll need big hands to hold the handle, its kind of wide.

I bought this based on the reviews and I don’t understand how it’s working so well for others. The stone is so smooth it literally does nothing when used on feet. Also if it gets the slightest bit wet it’s slimy. Sorry I bought this

This is the foot file you’ve been searching for. For anyone that might have dry, cracked heels, extremely dry feet, or a skin condition where you can never get your feet smooth easily, this is the file you need. Once you start using this, you need to have a towel down because it’s going to be raining white powder under your feet. I’ve used very expensive flat metal files that are laser etched that are supposed to be amazing and they don’t do the job at this one does. It’s got a great concave shape and it’s long enough to really allow you to get your feet smooth with ease. I can’t say enough good things about this file. The gritty texture of the small round abrasive discs is aggressive enough to really take care of badly calloused and dry feet. it won’t take long to see results. I recommend going over the same general area for about three minutes and after applying a rich balm or Vaseline and socks. It is definitely one of the best things that I’ve purchased. Buy with confidence! Your search has ended! Super impressed.
