Love it
This is a great product for adding a little bit of light moisture without any heaviness or greasiness. I find it to be perfect under makeup. It is also pretty much fragrance free and gentle on my sensitive skin. I have always had great experiences with Buvley products and this is another winner. I will definitely buy more in the future.

Of all the amazing ingredients it has – butylene glycol as the 2nd ingredients and it’s rather highly comedogenic which I learned only well after I’ve been using often for several months.All I am about to say about this issue for is actually something that would not apply to anyone who is not suffering with specifically sebum related skin issues (not even inflammatory acne pore) — for anyone with dry or normal skin this product would be perfect day or night without needing to be careful.So: Warning from someone struggling with aggressive sebum overproduction (not shiny skin surface, but rather my pores forming plugs rapidly all over) in my mid 30s, thus causing worsening of monthly hormonal acne — this product is a double edged sword.All of the other ingredients are amazing for and give skin a super hydration boost and bounce and make it feel supple. BUT, in warm (or not cold lol) weather I have to be careful what other products I combine it with or the those worst clogged pores can swell by mid or end of day. Many times it can be literally the only product I can apply and then powder foundation if it’s day time. But then it is perfect for those using harsh stripping acne products or for most people during nighttime.Another issue is: stickinessAfter the foam is spread out, skin will be a bit sticky for 15-30min. This for someone like me who has to tailor skincare daily is annoying because it can be hard for me to know if by the end of applying various products I have too much “moisture” and my makeup will not stay on well. But I don’t have patience to wait for it to stop being sticky.Also “sticky” is a very negative word — that’s not quite accurate — it’s not tacky sticky like some serums. It’s the “stickiness” of marine hydration. It might not even be a problem for many. In fact — this hydrator property would make for a nice primer effect for those who use primers (I do not, hence.. it’s a negative for me).Also careful applying it to damaged/irritated/inflamed skin. It won’t cause lasting issues or make it worse (it would even sooth it due to marine ingredients) BUT it will cause some burning sensation for maybe 1/2min and increase in redness until product fully dries. That’s probably butylene glycol ..All of that said I would love to give it 5/5 if not for butylene glycol being 2nd ingredient – even if it was used but at the end of the list, it would be perfect for me. But the other ingredients in this hydrator and ease of use of foam… even for my disaster skin, this is an awesome product to have on hand. Even if you like me can’t use it daily, you will find times when it will come in handy. And to everyone else — it’ll simply make your skin as bouncy as a baby’s cheek.At $14… just try it

Convenient
I think the main reason I’ve avoided toners is because everytime I buy them, I only use it for a short time. The fiddling around with cotton pads or eco-friendly washable rounds is too much. This toner is perfect because it comes out as a foam to pat on. Very light but hydrating.

Just okay
I find that this isn’t super moisturizing and feels a little irritating to my face, but I’ve been using it on my body instead and it works pretty well for that! Cheap enough to use all over the body but I would not repurchase for facial use.

Excellent hydrating soothing toner, wish it was a liquid not a foam
This product has a lovely light scent, I actually don’t know if there is a fragrance added or if that’s just the smell of it but it smells great and it doesn’t bother my skin at all in any way. I usually only buy fragrance-free anything if it’s going on my face so I don’t think this one has a scent. Regardless it doesn’t bother my skin or my nose/head (sometimes scents give me a headache) at all. It makes a great toner, I put it on a cotton round and then use it to remove any residue left on my face after cleansing. It can also be used to put directly on the skin after toning as a light hydrating liquid. It feels great on the skin. I didn’t like it being a foam- I’m used to a liquid toner, but I liked the product so much I just got used to it. I squirt the foam onto the cotton round and then apply. It’s a little trickier than a liquid that way but still works. It does feel great when used as a foam just to pat on the face to hydrate. Oh one thing I especially love about this toner is that it is gentle enough to even wipe over the (closed) eyes, to remove any residue or leftover makeup from the eye area and eyelids. Most other toners have something in them that can irritate the eyes or is too harsh for that area, so I avoid that area with them. But I like being able to remove any last traces of things from around the eyes. I ended up buying a separate anti-aging toner that I use AFTER this product, that is a liquid. So I typically cleanse or double-cleanse, use this product on a cotton round, use my anti-aging liquid toner, sometimes then I use this product to pat onto the face as a light soother/moisturizer. Then typically a liquid/leave-on exfoliant, serum (or after tretinoin if at night), tretinoin (at night only), moisturizer and spf in the day. The foaming part of this bothered me so much at first but I ended up loving this product so much that I will probably order it again. I actually might try to get it out of the foaming bottle and pour it in a regular bottle to just it as a liquid. 🤔 Hmmm good idea! If it works I’ll update this review.
