Highly recommend this oil for your daily mosturizing needs!
I use this oil as a daily moisturizer; it soaks right in. It isn’t greasy, and it immediately makes the skin feel moisturized. The bottle lasts me four to six months. I love that it comes with a pour spout or an option for a pump. I’ve been using this product regularly for several years, and it’s a nice, natural body care option. It’s a good deal; it may seem pricey, but it offers a generous quantity and will last a long time. I prefer using this product over lotion.

This has really helped me through chemotherapy
I’m now a true believer of the healing properties associated with almond oil. I bought this about a month ago for myself after reading a UK Cancer blog regarding scalp care during chemotherapy. It recommended using natural oils (such as almond) to heal an itchy scalp. I haven’t used it for that purpose yet as my hair is still in the thinning out stage. What I can tell you is that it has helped with the dry skin (from chemo) and breakouts from the steroid. I use this oil on my face after taking a shower. By morning, the redness and inflammation from the side effects are gone. My skin is calm. I don’t have any dark circles under my eyes. I put some on in the morning before applying makeup. The makeup goes on smoothly. No dry spots whatsoever. Now, I do live in a tropical climate so I’m not sure how it will be for those who have to endure a harsh winter. I can only say that it doesn’t block your pores (if you have oily skin) and it appears to be good for my aging combination skin. My skin loves it. A little goes a long way. I use more of it in the evening, but less in the morning before applying makeup so that it absorbs quickly. It has also helped soften my hands and feet. I rub it into my feet before I put my socks on. It has also kept my nails in good shape. I’m on my 4th of 12 rounds of chemo. I’ve seen no discoloration of the nails (but it’s still early in the treatment). I just know that it will work for my itchy scalp once the hair is gone. I feel it working now on all my problem areas. I’m writing this review in hope that it will help others who are going through chemotherapy. The company really should consider donating sample sizes to the Cancer Society’s “Look Good Feel Better” program. I know it will make others feel better. I honestly feel that this has helped my skin through this rough period.My 89 year old mother is also a big fan. I bought some for her as a gift. She’s been using it daily and I’ve noticed that her skin is more vibrant. She’s noticed that it helps smooth out her wrinkles. She uses it on her face and hands.I’m really glad I gave this product a chance. It’s also great that it comes with a pump. It’s easy to dispense. The only negative with the pump is that it sometimes leaks. It doesn’t happen all the time. I’ve been placing a paper towel under the bottle just in case. It’s nothing that would keep me from buying this product again. It really has saved my skin. It’s also hard to find a product in this price range that works so well. I will continue to use it even after chemo.

UPDATED: PUMP LEAKS! (This oil is great! Highly recommend!)
UPDATE (NOV. 2019): I’ve been using this oil daily since received and still love it. However, the pump on the bottle is awful and leaks oil all over the place. I had kept this on my nightstand and yesterday I woke up to find the whole top of nightstand covered in oil. There are no cracks on the bottle itself but the pump top/lip seems to be leaking by itself. Will switch to the regular closed lid included but being able to pump it was such a convenient feature and I’m so disappointed in the pump’s design flaw making it leak all over.Note to Seller: Please fix this ASAP!Original:After my research for safe baby products, I bought this to use for my baby’s massage but it feels so good, I am using it more on myself for my extremely dry skin. My hands tend to crack, peel and blister during dry winters and this stuff helps keep them soft. I even use it on my face without any issues. Never used any almond oil before so I don’t have another brand to compare it to but I love how this is pure & natural without any harsh chemicals and feels so light on your skin. It is super absorbent and does not feel sticky at all. It also came with 3 types of lids so you can choose how you want to pump or pour it which I felt was very thoughtful. Will totally buy this again when I run out. For anyone with babies, I highly recommend this over any of the “baby oils” that are marketed as such. This is a much safer, more natural alternative.

There is nothing mentioned on the pack about it being hexane free. It sure goes through a chemical treatment process to remove the odour and colour making it lightweight. I was looking for pure cold pressed almond oil as a body moisturiser. But the pack even stated that it is advised to consult a medical practitioner before using in case of pregnancy. This is very strange.
